Wait just a dang minute here! Guys get banned from BS for simply using the term "globalization" but here's somebody referring to the Big Q.

I am shocked and appalled and, frankly, feel very afraid now that....what? Oh, "questions".

    Nevermind

That looks like the sign in front of a cheesy 1980's era bar going for the "pub" look. All that's missing is "Ye Olde"...something or other.

May I just say again how ridiculous it is to be calling in MLS players who are either still active or just finished with the playoffs?

Look, by this time in the season, EVERYBODY is hurt. Everybody. They're physically and emotionally worn out, and for guys still involved it's asking way, way more than makes any rational sense.

And for what? A pointless scrimmage under a coach who shouldn't send out his laundry, who will be coaching a system that will be discarded immediately after the games are over. Call this the "Farewell to Dave" game.

You wanna pad USSF's bank account, fine. You don't need these guys to do it. Just pass out USSF uniforms to 18 random guys. Nobody will know the difference.

And just to add insult to injury, Sarachan calls in California Klinnsy's brat, the one who publicly mocked Landon Donovan, giving him the big old LOL with razzzzzberries on Twitter when his daddy didn't put LDo on the roster for Brazil. (Which of course meant that, when we needed someone in front of goal with skill and poise, we got Wondolowski and an early exit)

That little bitch should never see a US shirt unless he's out shopping.

    Yeah, I'm sure that'll work,

You could throw that logo up in neon lights and stick it behind rhe left field wall at Fenway and no one would notice the difference.

yeah, as I said my immediate reaction was this is an oil company logo. The more I look at it, it also makes me think of Visa logo. The way they presented it doesn't help. It literally looks like a lit up sign on a pole you see along the interstate for a gas station.

Anyway it looks very retail and not sports team logo at all.

I have never agreed with a post on BS more than this.
The other thing the tweet from little Klinsmann taught us, is what the conversations about Landon were like inside the Klinsmann household. Never seen a coach that put his ego above team more than JK. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree.

His twitter account hasn't been touched since those posts in 2014

I like it - for it's retro gas station thing. Think it'll work well* and grow on us.
Years down the road, I wonder which of the two will look like a throwback.

*(It's already kind of been tested by the new MLS logo. Aren't they sorta similar? And if you've been looking up to MLS, aspiring and mouth-watering to be a part of it, don't you bet this option looked extry nice? )

They could have asked Tottenham to play in it..... if they had to have an EPL team involved.

Tangentially related, the NFL just announced that this week's Monday Night Football game scheduled for the Azteca will be played in L.A.'s Coliseum instead (the Rams home field) due to poor field conditions in the Azteca.

I can think of a few of us who had wished games had been moved out of the Azteca due to poor playing conditions...

I don't care if that little POS ends up being the starting Keeper for Bayern Munich. I don't want him anywhere near our National Team.
