Drumpf is already preparing for the next debate... http://www.cnn.com/2016/09/28/politics/donald-trump-debate-reaction/index.html Donald Trump is angry that his aides and advisers have conceded to reporters -- largely without attribution -- that the Republican nominee struggled in his first presidential debate. In a conference call with surrogates Wednesday afternoon, Trump aides made clear the Republican nominee is upset that his allies publicly acknowledged they pushed him to change his preparation and tactics before his next bout with Hillary Clinton. And he wants them to stop it immediately. The message was "not subtle," a source familiar with the call said. Trump wants his supporters to make an energetic defense of his performance and refuse to concede that he didn't nail it. He has two weeks to change and pivot to the middle...
Computers are bad also. Man you are probably not a fan of the Industrial revolution, lets all go back to making shoes by hand.
I for one think we should not allow things like the Holocaust go down if we can help it, so call me a warmonger. Other people may actually want to see a repeat of the holocaust, I won't vote for that candidate.
Hmm.. Can we shutdown this thread? Seems we've moved beyond the debate and onto stuff that should be covered in the general Clinton vs. Trump thread?
As a Fire fan, I laugh at the Crew supporters who actually think their team represents the nadir of ineptitude. Then comes a bout of uncontrolled weeping.
Even Fire fans can't talk ineptitude trash until their team's leading scorer for the season is "Own Goal."
Catching up after reading about 20 pages, so this is a general comment: I'm surprised how positions on "free trade" boil down to pro or anti as though it's some kind of monolithic ideological position or moral value. The value of trade agreements lies in what they contain and what they permit. Different countries have different standards on health and safety, environmental protection, worker rights etc. When trade agreements reduce these to the lowest standard (often the case), workers in countries which previously enjoyed better protections are harmed... and their democratic rights are partially lost because their governments can be sued in the WTO by corporations if they try to reinstate or improve those standards. This happens frequently, and should be opposed. And insofar as posters like totti fan are referencing points like this they are correct. Such a critique doesn't make one "anti free trade"... just anti free trade on the terms that have been negotiated thus far. Likewise (and I'm writing from a perspective most Americans would consider radical insane unthinkable lunatic Left) it's legitimate to point out that Clinton's foreign policy is frightening and dangerous. Clinton supporters with a commitment to intellectual honesty should be able to recognize that she represents an interventionist foreign policy likely to start new wars and/or expand current ones... and that's dangerous and deserves to be opposed. (And, it should go without saying that recognizing both of those points in no way suggests that voting for an incoherent fascist like Trump would in any way be a good idea, ever).
