He has challenged the Democrats to "stop obstructing" (which they aren't...yet, the Democrats have not needed to obstruct. The Republicans are doing that themselves) and come to the table with a proposal. That is exactly what the Democrats should do. They should present a smaller bill (remember comparing the "size" of the bills?) to Trump, called TRUMP CARE 2018 (there was no gold color, so good ole' GOP red) with a one page synopsis, (with bullet points, Trump apparently likes bullet points) saying: Everyone must purchase health insurance, or pay a penalty, Individual Responsibility! Medicaid subsidies would be offered to states to offer low income individuals in their state. Pre-existing conditions would be covered. It would be "mean" not to do so. There would be "insurance marketplaces" which would exist in each state to foster competition between insurance companies. Children could stay on their parents' insurance until age 26. The insurance companies could charge people with higher risks (older people and people with certain conditions) a somewhat higher premium, say something like 250% of the average cost. I would then a final bullet point: Any individual could "buy into" Medicare, at any time, especially if the state did not provide for a Medicaid expansion. A friendly Republican would propose it, Ryan might have to bring it for a vote. It would pass. McConnell would have a rougher time in the Senate, but someone like Susan Collins might bring it up. Winning! There would be so much winning, it would make your head spin!

Yeah you picked the wrong day for your anti media jihad. http://www.npr.org/2017/07/20/538401459/fox-commentator-turns-up-on-trump-campaign-payroll The guy pushing anti media bias hysteria on Fox Business News is on Trump's payroll. Goebbels would be proud.
I'm already looking forward to making fun of Paul Ryan for debasing himself by excusing Trump's unprecedented pardon of himself— Dan Pfeiffer (@danpfeiffer) July 21, 2017
(THREAD) Tonight it was revealed that Trump and his attorneys are busy creating a "pardon strategy." Want to know what it is? I'll tell you. pic.twitter.com/kP8czrbsmW— Seth Abramson (@SethAbramson) July 21, 2017
It seems that he really won't make it through this term, despite having a craven GOP majority in Congress. He is both dirty and oafish. The first he could survive, if he were just to play along with the niceties of due process, he would just be a visibly corrupt President, but would hang around. But he is the opposite of a cool customer when under duress.
It is a private market solution, recommended by Heritage Foundation. It's great! So sad that Democrats oppose.
I doubt Sean Spicer knows enough to write a tell-all book, but I'm totally looking forward to his tell-what-little-he-knows book.— Harold Cook (@HCookAustin) July 21, 2017 888431901463244802 is not a valid tweet id
I wonder if dude had a change of mind. Last year a true statesman @mittromney said that Russia was a legitimate threat to our interests. Anyone questioning that now?— Anthony Scaramucci (@Scaramucci) August 2, 2013
Ah, his whole party aside from a few neo-cons (McCain, Graham) has done a 180 on Putin. Yet another "core belief" that wasn't. There aren't many left except for guns and cutting taxes on the wealthy.
That tweet was before he met with a state run Russian investment firm that was under US sanctions. bloomberglink
For your amusement, here's Scara going off on Donald Trump as a "hack" and "future President of the Queens' County Commission Board." He's every bit the dick that Donald is but a lot more articulate.
