It's strange that those are among Trump's best friends, and so is the Israeli government. What Trump doesn't realize, of course, is that while he doesn't make that connection, most American Jews do. I was talking to a co-worker today, he said flat-out he doesn't care if evangelicals are Israel supporters, they are also white supremacists, and he knows how Jews always have rated and always will rate with white supremacists.
Steal Underpants + ?? = Profit X-tan Fundamentalism + Restoration of Jewish Homeland = Rapture Party For Christian Fundamentalists, Jews are nothing more than the elusive missing step needed for the "best party ever".
Evangelical support for Israel is because Israel isn't Muslim. And for the hardcore, because of the evangelical belief that Israel is central to bringing about the end times. They do that by ceasing to be Jews and converting, of course.
So to them, Messianic Jews aren't really Jews anymore, they are just Christians who converted from some other religion...
For the record, Denmark is only at 1.35% of GDP for NATO spending. They are a wealthy country and should be at 2%. We protect Europe and yet, only 8 of the 28 NATO countries are at the 2% mark. The United States is at a much, much higher level than that....— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) August 21, 2019
I would just like to point out that this tweet is being ignored because he is calling himself the savior of Israeli Jews. This is the kinds of distractions we fall for. He needs to be questioned on this tweet. Over and over and over. Oh, and this bullshit Greendland crap.
This is why I keep citing Mooch We are reacting to the details of each insanity instead of looking at the big picture The Sun King is mad as a hatter
I won't say he is literally crazy (a medical conclusion), but he is definitely not able to deal with harsh criticism, and has not since he came on the scene in 2015. Probably always as there are clear examples of how he is worried about is image and struggles with the way he is portrayed for decades.
I'm pretty sure that if you asked him, for example, if his popularity is truly 40% to 45%, he would respond while believing what he said that was false, and that he's at 60% or something. Ditto for pretty much anything else that he doesn't like hearing. Maybe that's not medically crazy, maybe just delusional, but it's not what I call sane. He believes what is not true, in a big way.
He literally said that in the last 48 hours...a poll had him at 51% and he said something like you should add 10 points to that so I'm really at 61% approval.
Yep, that's why that popped first to my head. But it's symptomatic, he does that sort of thing daily.
Cruelty: During the Boer war, the British denied the refugees held in concentration camps good medical care or nutrition, assuming this would hasten their deaths and reduce their numbers. It did. Today, that is remembered as an instance of genocide. pic.twitter.com/bjIbzRq1J8— Jennifer Wright (@JenAshleyWright) August 21, 2019 This is the very definition of a "concentration camp." https://t.co/nT0wb1zN4q— Tea Pain (@TeaPainUSA) August 21, 2019 Winning: U.S. budget deficit to top $1 trillion in 2020, two years sooner than expected. https://t.co/mWUgaDHQ9V— Julia Davis (@JuliaDavisNews) August 21, 2019 “U.S. apparel companies are bracing for squeezed profits and potential store closures as a result of the Trump administration’s pledge to extend tariffs on Chinese imports.”#TrumpRecession https://t.co/ONIdIDBzZt— Laurel M. Worth repeating: The same-old story:1) GOP cuts taxes for the rich, promising trickle-down miracle 2) The economy slows, deficit grows.3) GOP calls for cuts to Social Security, Medicare & Medicaid.4) GOP calls for *more* tax cuts. 5) Recession hits.6) Democrats clean up the mess.7) Repeat.— Robert Reich (@RBReich) August 21, 2019
