I won't post the tweets but Trump went full racist this morning against AOC,Ilhan, Rashida and Ayanna.
A couple of years ago I was diving into the question of North Korean ship being registered in Panama and found that registration laws were really lax and really odd, and there were all kinds of efforts to get around sanctions, taxes, and also to avoid piracy.
I went to a 7:30 church service that only lasted an hour. I walked out of church and my phone blew up with unfollowtrump tweets. He's doing a lot of the racist "I'm not racist" shit for his base. There are a lot of retweets of delusional opportunists. So interesting to see “Progressive” Democrat Congresswomen, who originally came from countries whose governments are a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world (if they even have a functioning government at all), now loudly......— Unfollow Trump (@UnfollowTrump) July 14, 2019 ....and viciously telling the people of the United States, the greatest and most powerful Nation on earth, how our government is to be run. Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how....— Unfollow Trump (@UnfollowTrump) July 14, 2019 ....it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough. I’m sure that Nancy Pelosi would be very happy to quickly work out free travel arrangements!— Unfollow Trump (@UnfollowTrump) July 14, 2019
I will. “Why don’t they go back and help fix the totally broken and crime infested places from which they came. Then come back and show us how it is done. These places need your help badly, you can’t leave fast enough."
Essentially "go back to the shitholes you came from and fix them" 3 of the 4 were born here. He's worried about something dropping again.
Reminds me of a line in Trainspotting, something like Scotland having been colonized by pasty-faced wankers.
It has been out there in the open for a while now....Those who pretend otherwise are simply part of the cult.
OMG, here we go again. My sisters in Congress are Americans. The voices of women of color have been ignored for far too long — but not anymore. This disgusting and racist attack won’t stop us. https://t.co/YfYGkiesPq— Rep. Barbara Lee (@RepBarbaraLee) July 14, 2019 Mr. President,As Members of Congress, the only country we swear an oath to is the United States. Which is why we are fighting to protect it from the worst, most corrupt and inept president we have ever seen. https://t.co/FBygHa2QTt— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) July 14, 2019 You are stoking white nationalism bc you are angry that people like us are serving in Congress and fighting against your hate-filled agenda. “America's answer to the intolerant man is diversity, the very diversity which our heritage of religious freedom has inspired.” -RFK— Ilhan Omar (@IlhanMN) July 14, 2019
Yup! Obama incorporated far more GOP ideas into health care & stimulus bills than he did progressive Dem ideas. And still got 0 votes on health care, bare minimum on stimulus & got called a Muslim socialist traitor to America. https://t.co/rzF7Y6wg6C— Paul Rosenberg (@PaulHRosenberg) July 14, 2019
New Republic, WTF???? https://slate.com/news-and-politics...t-climate-forum-offensive-pete-buttigieg.html The New Republic apologized for and retracted a piece by Dale Peck titled “My Mayor Pete Problem” shortly after its publication Friday. But that was not enough to quell anger over the piece that was quickly criticized on social media for being homophobic and vulgar. In the piece, Peck referred to Buttigieg as “Mary Pete” and speculated about his sexual activities, saying he would be too sexually promiscuous to make a good president. The New Republic removed the piece from its site and replaced it with an editor’s note. Win McCormack, TNR’s editor in chief, apologized on Saturday, saying that it was a mistake to publish the piece that was “both inappropriate and offensive.” I think editorial standards might be slipping. And I wonder if that's the Dale Peck I've actually met. . . Well played by Mayor Pete . . . When asked for his reaction to the piece, Buttigieg told the Associated Press he “appreciated” that TNR took it down. “I don’t think it really reflects the New Republic that I know,” he said.
