    Unless we change what Social Security was intended to be, that is Supplemental Security Income. It was never intended to be a persons sole source of retirement income.

    However, as company funded pensions have mostly gone the way of the carrier pigeon, if a person doesn't save for retirement on their own, they are in for a rude shock when they want to hang it up.

    Even though I don't like her music, I give her props. She started her adult life out as a stripper, and is now doing well in the music industry. She has the nice Republican/Paul Ryan story about bootstrapping it to success, but not sure that is the kind of story they want to promote.

    As for Bernie...as my aunt would say "Bless your heart."
