Hello supporters of Olympique Lyonnais. Congratulations winning the Coupe de France as you will be heading over to the USA for the big match in late July. If you need help with directions, transportation issues, or just how to get to Red Bull Arena. Please don't hesitate to ask me in this thread or if you wish to P.M. me on Big Soccer, I would be happy to assist you. Take care and enjoy you're championship.
Somehow I did not know that the Trophee des Champions is in the States. I might have to fly out to NY.
I plan on going to both so it would be nice for Montpellier to win so we get 3 french clubs in NY this summer. Also so I can laugh, yes I will laugh a hearty laugh if Montpellier wins the league this year. But all interleague pettiness aside, I will be cheering on PSG in the Bronx, just with a Les Bleus shirt on.
I'll be going to this game as well - I'd love to meet up with fellow fans before/after the game for drinks!
Sounds good to me Red Bull stadium has some pretty good facilities outside the stadium for drinks and food. They have some pretty kick ass rodizio-style BBQ and whatnot.

If you want good food and drinks, head over the bridge to the Ironbound section of Newark. Lots of Brasilian and Portuguese places. I'll be at the game, not a fan of either team, but I was able to get my season ticket seats. Hope it turns out to be a good one. If anyone is interested in the PSG/Chelsea match at Yankee Stadium, I have two tickets I am looking to get rid of.
So I thought my seat was in the first row of the upper deck but I guess it's front row at the pitch!! I'm so excited to see this game since I can't afford to just jet on over to France to see a Ligue 1 match very often. Still trying to find a decent priced place to stay near Newark so if anyone knows of any good deals I'd appreciate some info. Also I'm up for grabbing food & drinks post game.
I'll be going to the game as well. not french but thought it would be cool. I also have an extra ticket. Sec 106 Row 1. CoDave, how long will you be in the area? just friday to Saturday? if you are PM me.
I'll add an Ironbound recommendation, the Pasteis de Nata at Teixeira's Bakery. A must for pastry aficionados.
Trip looking kinda iffy now. My brothers in hospice care and it's been a rough weekend. Gonna play it by ear.
No but several options online. atdhenet.tv/index.html or livetv.ru/en for example. Edit: Actually I think its on Universal Sports (owned by NBC) but the network is only available on a handful of service providers.
that is what I thought. What good to have it over here for only 20,000 people to see it? I prefer this site- http://www.thefirstrow.eu/
