i saw them play mexico to a 4-4 draw in charlotte in the gold cup...they are a pretty good team; that might be a fun game to go to.
Makes no sense. 20k in attendance is approx give/take which isn't bad, but horrendous for NFL stadium. Boo.
USA v. Nigeria was in JAX. The last game before the 2014 WC. 53,000 people in attendance. 45,000 in attendance for a friendly vs. Scotland. There will be butts in the seats.
Who sets the prices? USSF? The last few games at Everbank have been reasonably priced. I think if it is a local decision it will be fair.
I am tempted to go. The atmosphere should be amazing. Even if the prices are high Jacksonville should be filled since it is a World Cup qualifier. I am thinking about going then driving down to Universal Studios for a few days.
AO section appears to have sold out for this. Not sure when General sale is but hopefully US soccer throws open a few more sections. Nice to see reasonably priced tickets at $35-40
Two reasons it's awesome. A: $35 is better than $55. B: It will mean more people are willing to buy in and attendance should be higher.
im in for this one....odd choice for a stadium to me, but nice to see the USSF serving some SE cities
It's odd, but lower ticket prices have me more optimistic we could potentially get 30-40K which would be outstanding.
IT is not that odd considering we have always had a good Pro-USA crowd whenever we have played there and A Flight to Florida is not that long compared to a flight to the Midwest or west coast coming in from the Caribbean.
Right now, center field tickets are $140 and higher. These are really steep prices for fans to be paying for a Labor Day weekend game.
Confused though, who said anyone has to buy the most expensive ticket in the stadium. Behind the goal is 35 bucks.
I've reached the point where I just want to be inside the stadium for the game... these Copa tix prices kicked my ass!!!
