TRINIDAD & TOBAGO: Najjar resigns as national team coach The Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation on Tuesday announced that Hannibal Najjar has resigned as technical director and coach of the senior national team, following T&T's second-place finish in the Group B final qualifying tournament in the Caribbean Zone for the 2003 CONCACAF Gold Cup. Given the close proximity of the Interzone Playoff for the final two Gold Cup places (to be played 23-27 April), the TTFF announced that an interim technical staff has been appointed to supervise the preparation of the senior national team for that tournament only. http://concacaf.com/news/article.page/1327
right now live the game trinidad VS honduras 40 minutes - 1st half and no score radio Unica stream, from martinica the winner will make copa de Oro
next game martinica vs. Hds why should they try to win it? the winner goes to copa Oro-mexican grp, with bazil and mexico, no chance for them in that company! what do you think they will do?
Where has it been stated tha the winner would go to Mexico's group? It seems to me that a group with Brazil, Mexico and Honduras isn't what CONCACAF would want at all. They want to see Mexico and Brazil both get out of that group, and with a team like Honduras in it their is more of a chance for an upset. I think the groups were decided when Martinique beat T&T in the first game of this tournament. Martinique in Group A, Honduras in Group C.
I think that during the broad cast of HDS vs Trini man they say so.... the winner of the 3 will go to Mexico the runner up will Join colombia's grp In MIAMI, la capital del sol y la buena salsa!
http://www.concacaf.com/news/article.page/1371 Interzone Playoff winner Honduras will play its Gold Cup opening round matches at the Estadio Azteca in Group A that includes five-time FIFA world champion Brazil and host Mexico. Martinique, who finished second to the catrachos in the playoffs, has been placed in Group B at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, along with El Salvador and USA. Group D, also in Foxboro, has Canada, Costa Rica and Cuba. Group B, to be played at Miami’s Orange Bowl, has Guatemala, Jamaica and the 2001 Copa America champion Colombia. You'd think someone at CONCACAF would do a little proof-reading before posting. Two Group B's? For the record, USA is in Group C.
jack will find a way to ban martinique or cuba, under some dark rule of 'his makings'.... and bring in his boys. Hey, to add to the confusion: In an article about the trip of costa rica to play chile this week, they mention that the game is "in preparation for ticos before they travel to mexico for their gold cup matches" figure that!

Props to Shaka (Portsmouth) (R) Can we make Hislop at least an honorary YA? Caught Liverpool-Portsmouth Cup tie today, and Shaka was a rockin'.....proud to say he went to college in the States....he, particularly, made a great tip save off an Owen shot heading for the corner, and saved a penalty (albeit weak) from Owen..Portsmouth with a great victory, exercising the ghost of '92.. Anyway, props to Shaka, and the whole Shaka nation....
