I don't know what good opportunities you saw since Mexico didn't have a shot on goal until the 40th minute and it was a weak ass shot from Pablo Lopez. Mexico was awful in the 1st half and improved in the 2nd. Lozano switched 10 of 11 players in the starting lineup and it showed as the team couldn't hang against an Argentina team that also had a lot of changes. Mexico improved in the 2nd but the tie was more than fair. Once again a lot of fights and fouls in the 2nd half. Malagon was god awful and maybe Hernandez isn't that bad as BACKUP keeper. BACKUP keeper, Lozano, BACKUP.

There's only so many dudes you can give a chance to and to have that painted by an ulterior motive to keep a dual national happy just isn't a good precedent. The ineptitude seems real even at choosing the squads, but I don't think this is one of the symptoms.
