Ruiz said something very interesting. Apart from having the entire team for only 6 days before the games start.

A style of play has been asked for this team, that doesn't make sense in Toulon they played with a good style not sure what he meant by that statement. Yet he said they have been working a new approach.

Who would ask a coach try to change his tactics for another set of tactics...?

 

Why push youth players out of their comfort zone and ask them to try new things?

 

The u-21 plays against Venezuela tomorrow, El Salvador on the 23rd and Haiti on the 25th. Should be a relatively comfortable path to the final. I'm surprised Colombia got paired with Costa Rica and Honduras for their group, they are (on paper) the stronger opponents.

 

anyone know if the juegos centroamericanos will be streamed or televised? don't wanna miss it like i did 2014.

I've said this before but Youth national teams needs to leave players on the cusp of getting first team minutes alone.
