Apparently Alvarez first played with the US a game (Didn't know that) which means he had to switch and can't switch back. Great news if it's so.

EDIT: Apparently it's was only a friendly he played so he wasn't cap tied to the US and can still switch. Mexico is the first NT he would be cap tied to.

I don't think those are cap tying matches. I believe they start at the U17 level.

You already know I'm one of the kid's biggest fans but I don't know if we should start handing 15 year old prospects seniors caps just for the sake of cap tying...

Efra is a raw, pure talent. He was born gifted... However, you don't want to put that kind of pressure on a kid... I think it's just too much...

I do hope he sticks with México.

Not a good presentation for the U17's in the Varsseveld Cup. They had a balance of 1 loss, and 2 draws, not a single goal scored... That's rather poor... There are some player missing that I thought could have offered more...

Seems Efra wasn't a starter, and the coach is not utilizing him in his preferred position as a CAM. They usually use him on the wings...

Anyone know if Alvarez is with with a NT camp right now? Was all excited to watch this Galaxy II game and he’s not even playing.

He was a goalie for Chivas. He played in one of those U 17 teams and I believe he was loaned to Porto or something.
