Finally got around to watching Pope Dreams. Very impressed. I really liked it and to be honest, I thought it'd be another cheesy, lovey dovey flick. Trailer for Virtually looks great. I love apocalyptic stuff. Pledged and can't wait to see it.
Trickhog is 48% toward his goal. If you haven't contributed yet I urge you to do so now. I'm thinking we can all hit Trick up for 0.01% of the royalties if his opening weekend exceeds $100 million.
I'll throw in a personal Galaxy tail-gate with screening of the movie for all BigSoccer contributors!
I have 6 days to go in the campaign! I still need 180 followers to get the bonus $9k from the website, so if you can spare a moment and go click on the "follow" button and sign-up to follow my project, I would greatly appreciate it! www.seedandspark.com/fund/virtually#story
It comes with TrickHog's 100% satisfaction guarantee that you will find his short film VIRTUALLY more enjoyable than the 2017 LA Galaxy....
Hmm. I have an idea... Perhaps when you're done making artistically powerful movies, you could pitch this idea to mainstream Hollywood... "When Chris, Pete and Curt were handed control of the biggest team in the Major Soccer League, they thought they had it made! But they're about to find out that running a giant soccer team isn't all it's cracked up to be! Vince Vaughn, Luke Wilson and Owen Wilson star in this season's zaniest sports comedy... SEASON CRASHERS!!!" I'll see myself out...
The crowd funding for my film, VIRTUALLY, ends Wednesday morning, so tomorrow is the last full day it's active. I'm at 97% of my initial goal and couldn't be happier. Thank you to everyone who contributed. I really appreciate it. Hopefully we will have a special BigSoccer screening in the new year....
Thank you!! (And when I saw that come in, I cracked up and immediately knew where the donation came from)
I pledged today, but it didn't ask to take my money? Also, I promoted on my Facebook. Congratulations!
If you click on pledge you have to give them credit card info etc. If that didn't happen then it glitches somehow. Sorry. You also get a confirmation email if you make a pledge. But thanks for trying!!
It's nice to be an investor on a green-lit project. The production team is doing a good job keeping us on the money side up to date. The location shots looks great. Keep up the good work - I'd hate to have to start micro-managing your budget!
We need to have an investors meeting and complain about the budget and the schedule, and pass on all our script notes. And say NFW when Trick Hog invites us up to his hotel room.
Ha ha ha. First - there will be no investor casting couches... I swear. Second - Geneva I can check what email you should be getting updates to and can PM you the info. Third - Shelbo, I will send you the production budget breakdown as soon as you want it. But I figured you'd prefer all the pretty pictures. Another update in a couple days with more location photos....
For the crowdfunding, yes. But if you still want to donate to the production, I'll PM you when the film company goes active.
