http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-35159149 Shine on: Why Colombian men like to get their nails done
my wife loved all the random arepa shops on the streets of Barranquilla and Bogota when we went last year. So funny as its such a normal thing when you go to South America but would anyone eat random push cart food in the US?
Going to Cartagena in October with my parents, brother and his wife and my wife parents. Do you guys think a all inclusive resort is a good deal there? I remember food being free when you have USD and same with drinks. Its their 40th anniversary. I am going to rent a boat as I heard its pretty cheap. Any recommendations for Hotels? Would tell my family but my parents free out if anything is more then $20 bucks. Same incredible looking places for $100 a night that just can't be looking at CAPILLA DEL MAR and Charleston Santa Teresa Cartagena, Cartagena that are 5 star
I've stayed at the Charleston. Beautiful hotel in a perfect part of the old town. Usually the place where all the international dignitaries stay. No way it's $100.
I stayed at Capilla 5 years ago. It was ok, the new Hyatt is very nice. All inclusive seems like a waste unless you Aren’t planning on leaving the hotel.
Capilla is on the water, but the beaches in Boca Grande are meh, and it can be annoying with all the street vendors. May I suggest Las Americas? While a little far from the Old City is a little more isolated and has access to better beaches. Just checked and it is in the $130 per night range. And it's only a cab ride (less than col$10.000) away from the Walled City.
The vendors are annoying and my wife’s parents and my brothers white wife will freak out. All the hotels look nice. And it’s just the pictures but I have been burnt before on that
I am planning on visiting Medellin for next year's Copa America. Gonna have a month to myself before I go back to work after the Navy. Would love to catch the group stage matches if possible. We must gather my brothers!
Check the google reviews. Usually there are guests pictures, not only the professional ones from the hotel advertisement. https://www.google.com/travel/hotel...hUKEwiGtfPlxoLkAhUxq1kKHQlzCtEQ4gkwDXoECA8QIA
Call me fat in person and I'll make sure you gain 6 pounds; disguised as me offering free drinks as we celebrate victory for Colombia, a beer belly that puts Endgame Thor to shame.
they just opened the tunnels from the airport to the city, travel time just got cut down by half at least.
