Anybody going to the game, email me. I have been living here in San Pedro for the last 6 years. I own a small bar called the International Doghouse Tavern. Great place to meet the night before, and after the game.

Real Espana
The best thing about Honduras, is the passion for soccer. Gotta love soccer on at least 4 channels daily. Today's newspaper had nothing but soccer stories, mostly the upcoming mexico/honduras match, on the first 5 pages.
Everybody talks soccer all day long when their team is this close to the world cup. It is a great atmosphere. I am routing heavy for both U.S. and Honduras to qualify, their excitement is contagious.

Combination of 2 reasons, I am in the apparel business and most of the apparel industry came down here, and I met my wife in Philly, and she happened to be from Honduras.

I am definitely going. So pissed I am not in Trinidad today that I am buying my airfare for Honduras out of spite.

Hey, I'm living in Guatemala right now and I'm really interested in heading over to San Pedro Sula for the weekend of Oct. 10 for the USA/Honduras game.

Does anyone know anything about getting tickets for it? The USA Soccer website doesn't have anything about it, probably because it's in Honduras. If anyone finds anything out, I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!

you most likely to need to go to Honduras a week before buying the tickets
i beliefe the back fichosha sells them.

Hey I am planning on going to this game and will know for sure as of Tuesday Sept 15th if I get the time off for work. If I do, I was wondering if anyone would want to split a hotel room for the nights they stay. I plan on flying down on Thursday, October 8th and staying till Monday, October 14th and then flying to DC for the Costa Rica game.

A hotel at Hilton Princess in San Pedro Sula is $55 a night currently on hotels.com for a two double bed room. Roughly 30$ a person per night. If anyone is interested go ahead an email me at ctown80@hotmail.com and just put in the headline USA vs Honduras Hotel, so I know not to delete it as junk mail.

Also, does anyone have tickets ahead of time or are we going to have to buy them the day before. Any help would be appreciated with ticket info.

I see flights out of Newark to San Pedro Sula for around $255 - $265 -- just have to juggle the dates to make it work. That sounds real cheap to me.

As one of the 500 who went to Azteca I want to encourage you to go. You won't get killed and the locals will admire your "huevos" (balls) for showing up, even if they shower you with liquids. And will will get your own section and riot police escort, even if there are only five of you. And if the US loses, hell, just join the fiesta. Good times.

Anyone that wants tickets, just email me. I live in San Pedro, and will buy tickets for whoever is coming. There is also a bed and breakfast in a good neighborhood that I talked to, and the rooms are about 50 bucks a night including breakfast. It is right down the street from my bar that a lot of people will be going to the night before the game and after the game.
