Tickets are now for sale at the AO store: $77 for members and $82 for nonmembers.

Boo indeed. Plus, that doesn't include parking. I'm definitely not eating for a couple of days and taking the metro the day of.

on the bright side, we are less likely to develop concussions from falling stadium pieces

Ticket prices kill this for me. Seeing the USA play Brazil is not a novelty anymore. $80 supporters club tickets is r@pe.

I agree that the prices are ridiculous BUT the only reason for setting up a match like this is for it to be a money make for USSF, Brazil, Nike, etc. so they are going to charge as much as they can. I would rather watch them play in Baltimore for $25 against a less 'prestigious' country.

Not happy with the prices, but what can you do? Thought I would go with my older son, but my wife decided to join me instead. My reward: going with her to see Madonna live in September.

    The breakdown for me ...

    $149.00 = 2 $60 (upper sideline) tickets + misc. fees ($14.50 each!)
    $25.00 = general lot parking
    $4.75 = additional unexplained fee
    $178.75 = total damage (almost $90/person)

My rationale for overspending: it's probably the only MNT game I'll see in person this year. Watching on TV is never the same experience.

Might try to see if i can go to this one. (or the one in Canada in June). However, this is a more likely bet, as it will be cheaper for me when it comes to full expenses (just flight + ticket). I would be staying with my brother, who lives in Bethesda, MD (about a half hour drive from Landover)

Doesn't seem to be much interest in that game based on the posting not going on here.

USA has played Brazil a bunch the past few years. Also, 40K would seem to indicate otherwise (even if much of that 40K is from Brazilian fans).

Got my tickets from AO today. I bought them 2 hours after they were released and ended up in row 25?

I would have expected 60k by now to see USA in DC.

A Wednesday night match after coming back from Memorial Day weekend...hard to draw a sellout in RFK with that.

Particularly hard with the game scheduled to be played elsewhere.

Here is a pretty good pic I found of section 109 at FedEx Field where we are will be on May 30 cheering on the "Stars and Stripes". From looking at the pic seat numbers go from right to left with seat 1 on the aisle next to 106/108.

There are also two rows of dream seats in front of row 1 .
