I'm not an AO member, but thought I'd pass on the link since you didn't seem to have seen it. The post at the link below says it's open to all: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1688393
For those traveling from NY-Penn Station via rail to Meadowlands Stadium, the cost is 5.25 each way. (2.25 for senior(60+)/disabled). Get your ticket at NJ Transit inside the station. Buy a round-trip in NY Penn for $10.50. You take a NJ Transit train out of NY Penn to Secaucus (1-stop), then switch to a train to the Meadowlands. They are running trains from Secaucus to the Meadowlands on 3/26/11 at: 3:43, 4:16, 4:41, 5:11, 5:41, 6:11. If you miss the last one, you have to cab it.
this would be my first time tailgating in the new stadium. any good time we should be arriving at the lot before there is no parking available?
I am looking for 2 tickets in the supporter's section for tomorrow's game - please PM me if you can help! Thank you.
Re: Looking For US - Argentina Tix Likewise - I am also looking for 2 tickets in the supporter's section for tomorrow's game. Please PM me if you can help! Thank you.
We'll try to get into the lot for Free at 1 pm. If not that will suck $25 out of us. argh. Is it confirmed all USA supporters are in lot J or lot K ??
this is what they said in the news last night (spanish news). I'm sure by the start it will be close to sell out.
wait, what? what time do they start charging? eff that, i could tailgate for an extra two hours if it saves me 25 bucks.
NJ Transit increased the number of trains running from Secaucus to the Meadowlands Sports Complex. My advice is first buy a round-trip ticket in NY, then take the first available train from NY Penn to Secaucus (symbol SEC). It will be the first stop of the train. Use your ticket to exit the gate after you arrive at the station. Then switch to a Secaucus train. The station in Secaucus is modern and as safe as it gets. The number of trains running from Secaucus have been increased. This is not official, but are my notes from looking at the schedule: 3:43, 4:16, 4:41, 5:11, 5:26, 5:41, 5:51, 6:11, 6:19, 6:29, 6:41, 6:51, 7:41, 8:41. If you want to see the start of the game I would suggest the 5:51 or earlier. The 6:11 and 6:19 are cutting it close.
True, but I felt pretty sketchy last time I was in there for the US v Mexico in Gold Cup final. Not because the station is unsafe or scary... just b/c there were probably 4 US fans and 2000 Mexico fans. I hate to say it, but I was almost relieved that we lost that game. I wasn't looking forward to riding that train back out of there if we pulled a Dos a Cero on them.
Yes but that was a cup final against our hated rivals and this is a friendly against a team we've played a handful of times.
We are bringing a grill. Anyone who has meat but no grill is welcome. NYC SA MDS tricorn hat brigade.
