Has everyone received their AO tickets in the mail yet? A buddy of mine still hasn't and wasn't sure if they were mailed yet.
I posted this in another thread regarding the open practice: Monday, May 26 (times PT): 5-6:30 p.m.: Public Training Session at Candlestick Park: The always-popular opportunity to see the U.S. MNT will be held at Candlestick Park in San Francisco. The training is free and open to the public. http://www.ussoccer.com/stories/2014/05/09/14/16/140509-mnt-send-off-schedule
PUBLIC TRANSIT INFO MUNI has announced there will be two express shuttle bus routes providing service to Candlestick for this game, the 86 and 87. http://www.sfmta.com/calendar/alerts/soccer-candlestick-park-may-27-2014 The 86 will run from Bacon and San Bruno, a location about 1.5 miles NW of the stadium, while the 87 runs from the 3rd/Gilman stop on the T-Third MUNI Metro (light rail) line. The other bus routes mentioned in that link are regularly-scheduled routes that go to one of those locations. I can't find any info on the frequency of the shuttles.
I have an extra sideline seat 2nd row a couple sections clockwise from Outlaws. Our 4th guest can't make it. I can email the ticket. PM me!
Every 5-10 minutes: http://www.sfmta.com/getting-around/destinations/candlestick-park (use info tab).
You can also take the 29 Muni Bus as well that will let you off at near the stadium as well. http://www.sfmta.com/getting-around/transit/routes-stops/29-sunset
The guy I'm carpooling to game with said the following after his visit to the open practice: "...they are probably going to be using the stupid NFL rules so you can't bring a backpack (they tried to stop me from bringing my camera bag in)" Does anyone here know if that's the case? I would have wanted to put an extra blanket/jacket in a backpack - it's gonna be a drag if I have to carry everything in my hands...
