I'm coming into KC for the match from Chicago. Never been there before. Does anyone have any suggestions on pre/post-game entertainment?
Also coming from Chicago on Tuesday. My suggestion is just starve yourself until you get there and eat BBQ the entire time. If you like music or basbeball there is a cool museum for jazz and the negro leagues.
got my 2 AO section tickets, thanks to the 2 random (and new) friends for hooking me up. see you guys there tomorrow.
I'm coming in on the 6:39a flight from O'hare. Spending the morning at the WWI museum and then getting some BBQ before heading to the stadium. So excited!!
Hi guys... Does anyone have an extra ticket for me?????? Im going crazy looking for mine, but I cant seem to find it? Please let me know ASAP!!!
I have an extra ticket, if anyone is interested email me gadbo020...umn.edu Mod note: edited the @ out of the address to help you dodge the spam bots. Just replace the ... with @ if you want to send him an email, folks.
My tickets I got locally are apparently falling through. Do you think it's wiser to pick up a couple on stub hub (pickup is a bestwestern near the stadium), or a couple scalped outside?
You drove down right? Buy yourself some peace of mind on stubhub unless you really need every dollar.
For anyone that was at the game, did the AO stadium-wide tifo happen? US Soccer tweeted that it was supposed to happen right after the anthem, but we saw nothing on the ESPN broadcast.
One issue was the wind probably knocked off half of the papers before the game anyway. The reason why none of the supporters held them up, that I have no idea.
no direction was provided other than, I think, a stadium PA announcement. I say "I think" because I'm not sure what was said but part of what I was able to hear sounded like the announcer was talking about the tifo.
Yes exactly. The stadium PA guy announces it within a string of sponsorship announcements. If you weren't really interested in who paid a bunch of money for a sideline as you would not have heard it. My friend asked me after the game why there was paper taped to his chair.
When fans hold up pieces of paper to make an image. If you do a quick google search I'm sure you can find a picture.
