I'd not down with Bramble, but you'd take Oneywu? I didn't watch every Barcode game, but he seemed out of place and inefficient for them. Not sure if I'd want him for Everton. I'm still holding out for Luke Young and (hopefully) Jagielka....

Since I like Sheffield United this is good news. Jags is a hard worker who can play multiple positions. It pained me to see him on the floor after they got relegated looking into nothingness.:(

I still think Bramble has the potential to be good. In fact I know he does. He's just a lazy arse which gets him in trouble. He'd be a good backup.

Edit: I've heard Preston are valuing Nugent at £10m, and we're not stupid. So it doesn't look like he's coming.

I have a feeling we don't get Nugent. If that's a case we need a 3rd striker who could do some damage. Vic is too young and inexperienced and Beattie is, well, Beattie. Any thoughts on who we could get? Maybe someone like Chopra (example) for half for what we'd pay for Nugent?

Beattie is twice the player Chopra can hope to be.

I'm not saying I'd want Chopra. I'm saying that we need a reliable third striker, and Beattie has shown us repeatedly this season that he doesn't fit that role.

I would only because I really think he has the capability to be a solid defender in one of the top leagues. I do believe he has some upside to him but I also believe that Moyes and the staff would have some work to do with him.

He certainly isn't the finished article yet but I think someone will take a gamble on him somewhere.

I'd rather play Tesfaye Bramble at the back than Titus, he's toilet, and as for Oguchi Oneywu, i've never seen a player look so lost on the field. He reminds me of...Titus Bramble?

I wasn't going to mention this because I assumed it was rubbish, but it looks like Lee Carsley is about to sign a two year deal with WIGAN. I'm absolutely gutted.

Can't blame him if they're offering him a multiyear deal but I would be really sad to see him go. A lynchpin in the squad and never mailed it in. Always gave his best. Proud to see him in a blue shirt.

    that's a no-brainer.

kenny miller puts in 100% effort and works his socks off anytime he plays but so can(should) every professional footballer. miller is an always willing runner but unfortunately 9 times out of 10 he's running down blind alleys...

lets be honest, if you're a striker and you struggle to score in the SPL for celtic then you're not going to set any goal scoring records anywhere else..

therefore, at least with healy, you have the hope that he'll transform his international form to club form as long as he's utilised properly.
