    I think 21 million Euros...

But since at Benfica he has 20 goals and 9 assists in 60+ appearances. Not awful but those aren't great either for a striker. 22 million pounds is about 26 million euros so they would still see a slight profit depending on how much salary he was making...

They said the same things about David Silva and Juan Mata and they have managed to cope with the style just fine. I don't liken any of our players to those two but I mention them because I don't think that would be an issue for all Mexican players...

Right...still I think they spent that much because they thought/think that he'll blow up. I think they'll sit on that investment a bit longer before accepting a wash.

I actually think he'd do well in the EPL.

I'm not talking only about the physical aspect, but also about the speed of play..Mexicans tend to play slower pace.

Knowing Liverpool, they might offer to a 20 million pound agreement up front with an additional 10 in add-ons based on performance milestones assuming there is anything to this whatsoever...

I'd love to see him as a Red but we know these rumors are mostly BS...

I agree with you that he'd do well there...

If he plays a sub role, yes. But if he were to start, it wouldn't be a step down in my opinion.

If he doesn't want to win anything for the rest of his career then ok.

    Im just shitposting tbh
Ok, now that would be a massive step down.

Prefer our players to go to the best league in the world.

Rafa Benitez in charge at Newcastle. He had a decent record with them in the Premier League but they were in such a hole that it wasn't enough to rescue them. They were smart to keep him on as coach in the Championship. As long as he stays, they won't go back down with him at the helm once they're back in the Premier League...

Yes but a big part of this is because he's always injured. When he's been healthy, he usually scores goals leading to starts...

He will start to build a head of steam only to get a hamstring injury or something else that lasts a few weeks but enough to push him back uot...

Would definitely be a step down from where he's currently at. Tbh I can only see Vela moving to another spanish team; he seems comfortable in Spain and plus, he's got a family to take care of now- idk if he'd be willing to experiment leaving the country.

This is pure speculation but I can see Vela going to Atletico. The rumours were strong a while back ago and it everyone knows there's a chemistry between Vela and Griezzman. It's a plus that Vela really has picked his game up this season- the only downside being he may only have a few good years left to give.

Atletico can't buy anyone + Griezmann and Simeone will most likely leave soon. He'd be better off with Real Sociedad

Hirving Lozano reportedly targeted by Ajax... Their average age is 22 years... They have one of the best academies worldwide... Lately they've been recruiting south american players such as the Colombians Davinson Sánchez and Mateo Casierra...

That's one rumor I like. I always wanted to see a Mexican play for de Godenzonen. It could be a good starting point for Lozano. Get acclimatized to European football and then work his way to a much more competitive league...
