Don't the teams get peanuts if they let a player go before he has signed a professional contract? I've never really understood how the laws work in this matter but I approve of teams being properly compensated.

El problema no es que existan equipos interesados en Diego, el problema es que el América lo suelte. El Villarrreal sería una grandiosa opción por el estilo de Lainez. Imaginen si Diego a los 17 años se ve muy técnico, ahora jugando y entrenando en España donde privilegian el buen juego y toque de pelota. Si el Villarreal hizo una oferta decente, deben venderlo pero que salga hasta verano. Eso sería lo más justo y deportivo, pensando en el joven. Igual eso no va a pasar, el América lo va a querer exprimir hasta lo más que se pueda.
If he just signed his first contract I think America gets a lot less for him than if they sold him in 2-3 years. He's not going to the World Cup so outside of the u17 wc there aren't going to be any big tournaments for him to immediately raise his price tag in.
Coincido, pero tampoco que lo regalen. En mi opinion seria ideal dejarlo ir por una buen oferta y que el America se queda con 30% de su carta si en el futuro hay una oferta grande. Asi hay incentivo para dejarlo ir, y quizas facilita que salga mas pronto.

Lainez is a true talent. He'll get to Europe guaranteed. If Maza can make it there.. Lainez can be a star there..
He will get to Europe, no doubt about that. It's if he will do so timely that is in question. Hence, I mentioned Memo's case, his talent is unquestionable, but what should have been a move to a team like Man Utd ended up being a move to Ajaccio, because of him not being let go timely.

Disagree. But he isn't worth 20 million...yet. I say he should be let go for at least 11 mill with a % on a future transfer.
