Why is that? What makes a "crack"? For me, it is being a level above his peers in that position.

When I hear the term used it is usually for players that do magical things with the ball and look dominant at their position. I am sure some people use it for every position but to me the Defensive midfield position being a crack is like calling a Keeper a crack. It should be used for the best of the very best (in my opinion).
Guys who you just have not seen equals to or are flamboyant in their style.

Ha, no need to feel sorry.
I am just able to see it from Colino's perspective and understand why she does not see Barrios as a crack .
    It is all subjective.

    Amazing GK/Defenders are “walls”
    Amazing DMs are “beasts”
Amazing attackers (AM and Strikers) are “cracks”

    Is that fair? :)

I can just go by what I have seen and heard and I rarely hear DMs referred to as cracks. But obviously others around here have a different interpretation.

Your list sounds reasonable although I sometimes call Strikers beasts if they are the behemoth old school #9 types who can dominate with physicality.
    :D

He is a free transfer he should have gone to Spain or Italy. Colombians either have shit agents or mentality.

Go to a small team in Spain, Holland or Italy then quickly make a jump. Go to a Brazilian, Mexican team like rumored and you are stuck in slavehood because to leave some team will have to pay a truck load for you.

Those teams in Europe have to have to be interested in him. Also unless he has a EU passport all three of those countries have non EU player rules.

One of the best player in the league and he is free!!! Dutch league paid 6 million for Cassiera and how much for the RB that Went to Ajax?

Junior needs better agents or players should just head directly to Dep Cali or Nacional

Don’t they sign every Colombian free agent and then not play them :)

Should have gone to Europe or Argentina but went for the quickest buck. At least he didn’t go to China

I am not as high on Jarlan as you and others may be.
I think starting out in Mexico sounds about right for his potential.
