BUT THEY HAVEN'T TRIGGERED THE OPTION TO PURCHASE YET.

That's what I want to see. I want to see them officially decide to sign him up like Juventus did with Cuadrado before his loan from Chelsea was even done.

I wish him the best. Coming back from nagging injuries is not easy but hopefully he can become a serviceable player and go back to Colombia one day..

It actually makes me sad that he had such a promising club career but it never showed on the national side. I was so confident watching him play and thought that he could a lot for us.

    Jackson?

He couldn’t play next to Falcao who is our best striker arguably our best player ever. I thought he should have started in the 2015 Copa America above Zombie Falcao but Pekerman like we saw at the WC is too loyal to his favorites. After that Jackson got hurt and now in a midtable club in Portugal. Hope the best for him but more interested in younger options.

Jackson was starter in the last two matches and without results, falcao subbed him in argentina match, but jackson started...then in wcq he had opoortunties and he wasted again.

His decadence started in atletico and not because an injury....

If he stays healthy and gets playing time he could work his way back into the Seleccion again. Let's see what happens.

Probably more an issue of wages if he rejected Brazil and argentina but went to Mexico. Think some midtable team in Spain wanted him too.

His goal last qualifiers was one of my favorites
