What's wrong with you guys? Is it time to make a coaching change? Things looked so promising at the beginning of the year....

I've been calling for a coaching change for a while now (especially after we lost 8 $*&%*$&%ing games in a row last year). Not sure who would be able to replace our coach though...so I guess were stuck.

Oh well. On the bright side, we won't be losing many games 4-1 in L2.

    L2!!!!

Go out and get Deschamps or someone with some quality. Toulouse could really become a big club if they sunk a little money into it. Good stadia, great town.... No reason to be at the bottom half of the league.

I don't see Toulouse falling to Ligue 2. You guys have much more talent than anyone around you.

Nobody talked about the last game against Metz...

    A Metz (stade St-Symphorien)
    Metz et Toulouse 2-2 (1-1)
    Arbitre : M. Kalt
    Spectateurs : 12.367
    Avertissement à Toulouse : Mansare (42')

Buts pour Metz : Proment (13' pen., 66')
Buts pour Toulouse : Moreira (40'), Santos (90')

We are 16th of the Ligue 1 but 7 points away from the three last teams. Now we have to climb in the ranking.

    A Monaco (stade Louis II)
    Monaco-Toulouse 1-0 (0-0)
    Arbitre M.Lhermite
But pour Monaco : Kapo (84' pen)

Monaco : Warmuz - Givet, Squillaci, Modesto, Evra - Bernardi, Sorlin, Plasil (Veigneau 75') - Adebayor, Maurice Belay (Meriem 57'), Chevanton (Kapo 57').
Toulouse : Revault - Aubey, Arribagé, Ebondo, Mathieu (Lièvre 87') - Emana (Batlles 86'), Dieuze, Mansaré, Abdessadki (Begougnoux 86'), Sirieix - Moreira.

If you can read French, go there : http://www.tfc.info/delia-CMS/zoom_article/article_id-2389/match.html

If not, I would say that we deserved at least a match draw. Toulouse had opportunities to score in the second half and the penalty doesn't exist at all.

Result : First half of the season, we are 15th...

A ray if light in the sky of Toulouse...

    A Toulouse (Stadium municipal)
    Toulouse-PSG : 2-0 (0-0)
    Arbitre : Lannoy
    But(s) : Mansare (85'), Moreira (91' pen) pour Toulouse.
    Avertissement(s) : Pichot (49') pour PSG.

Toulouse : Douchez - Mathieu, Aubey, Arribagé, Ebondo - Emana, Bonnet (Mansare, 62'), Taider - Bergougnoux (Akpa Akpro, 75'), Moreira, Batlles (Sirieix, 87').

PSG : Alonzo - Armand, Yepes, Rozehnal, Pichot - Landrin, Rodriguez, M'Bami, Semak (Haddad, 87') - Pauleta (Bueno, 72'), Kalou.

We are now qualified for the last 8 of the League Cup. The pitch was really frozen. Paris played better than Toulouse but a great goal of Mansaré saved us.

Nah, we're focusing on the league now.

Besides we have 2 of them anyway, so maybe its time we let the smaller teams win something for a change. ;)

Why didn't you keep Stephane Dalmat from Inter as he's a class player!

Scored a screamer against Lyon last season!

Pretty versatile as well can play across midfield!

Dalmat didn't belong to TFC, and he didn't want to stay.

    Re: Toulouse FC Thread 2005-2006

Happy New Year everybody !!! (it had to be said)

Unfortunately, the first Toulouse game in 2006 was not the expected. We were eliminated by a small club of Lyon, which plays in the fifth national level.

    A Lyon (Stade de Balmont)
    Lyon Duchère-Toulouse 2-1 (1-1)
    Arbitre : M.Thual
Buts pour La Duchère : Cherif (28'), Lemmouchia (91').
But pour Toulouse : Taider (7' pen).

Toulouse : Douchez - Arribagé, Dao, Lièvre, Bedimo - Cardy, Giresse (Mathieu 70'), Taider, Bonnet, Akpa - Psaume (Bergougnoux 63').

You can observe that it's not the usual team, the coach decided to give a chance to the substitutes. Apparently not the best solution...

Tomorrow, game against PSG, gulp !
