England 2-1 China. China didi pretty decent games got some chance and was a head at the half thanks to Yan Dinghao lucky goal. after the break England woke up and just annihilate China, they never syand a chance to win with an early goal by England in second half and one at the very end. China main pb? central back (Guo Jing, Wu Wei) very slow technical mistakes and the football style of the team, long ball, long ball, long ball, they need to get more ball on midfield, Sun Weizhe wasn't great but most of the time he was alone on the middle of the english players. By the way he got a harsh red card avec a bad challenge who didnt touch the english player but the Romanian ref decide it was time to send someone off. For me the best Chinese players were Yan Dinghao, Liu Boyang and Wen Jiabao. Yan Dinghao got sub off du to a little injury on the thigh and will be back. next game vs Qatar on tuesday a must win game to keep hope to get a chance to get out of the group stage. as what i saw from Mexico 4-1 win over qatar, China should get the three points.
China 1-1 Qatar China start the game with central defense Wu Wei - Liu Boyang, both playing out of position, since Wu Wei is a midfielder and Liu Boyang is a right back. Those missed position cost China the 1st goal with Wu Wei getting burn by Qatari player who beat him coz he just wait for the ball.instead of going toward it, qatari player just avoid Fan Jinming who rush to him to close the gap, unfortunatly he also got beat by the dribble and leave the net wide open for the Qatari to push the ball on the empty net. during all game China didnt manage to be real dangerous only by hitting the post we still dont know how. On midfield it wasn't much better without Sun Weizhe who is suspended for a red card received vs England. Cong Zhen and Gao Huaze got the task to create something who never came. Both look decent but too much predictable. They didnt get much help from Wang Jinze who was stuck on the ground like a litgh pole, no movement at all. in second half Feng Boxuan got replace by Xie Weijun and Yan Dinghao moving back on the midfield. Another choice who didnt have any impact since Xie Weijun is the same type of player than Wang Jinze, tall but pretty usless since they almost never manage to win challenge in the air. Wen Jiabao did a good game on his left side, moved back in defense after getting on the left wing during the 1st game vs England. In the end China got a PK thanks to a stupid foul from qatari center back who pushed Xie Weijun in the penalty area. Cong zhen didnt missed the opportunity to score it from the spot. Next game vs Mexico on friday.
China 1-3 Mexico Coach Sun Jihai decide to change his formation, moving Wu Wei at his preferencial position on midfield like he is use to with Tianjin Quanjian. Also instead of going with Yang Shuai at CB he choose to put Sun Weizhe for help to have more choice when it come to raise the ball. Also need to notice Wen Jiabao was suspended for 2 YC and Liu Boyang was on the stand due to hamstring strain. China start the game pretty well scored rapidly thanks to a good move between Xie Weijun an Deng Yubiao who beat the goal keeper with a nice shot. Mexico choose to change their formation with Diego Laines moving from left wing to the attacking midfield. this choice will almost pay immediatly with Alvarado low shot who end up hitting the goal post, well served by Laines, Fan Jinming was beaten. at the 28th minutes Guo Jing made the mistake of believing that Mr Branco Godinho will blow the whistle coz he scream and fall to the ground for nothing, unfortunatly for him the ref didnt saw the thing this way and Alvarado Hernandez took the shot and put mexico on the score board. Again another marking error gave a perfect chance for Aguirre header to put mexico ahead. at the half Sun Jihai decide to keep the same XI, a stupid fault by Sun Weizhe on penalty box (pull the shirt of Cesar Montes Castro) while Fan Jinming was on the trajectory of the ball. Aguirre took the opportunity to score a brace. the game start to be tense with Cong Zhen getting book for a hard challenge and even got almost red on the next action; Mexicans got their revenge by shoting on Cong Zhen back while he was liying on the ground. A CSL brawl style start with punch flying around and both bench rushing at each other. China end up with 10 players on the pitch due to the head injury of Jiang Minwen after receiving a elbow hit on the forehead. Next game will be classification game for the 9th-12th position.
