Thread for youth and reserve teams and players at the moment, Danny Rose is at the u21 european championships with England, he made is first appearance against Germany, making his way up the ranks after a good u19 european champion qualifiers.
I have that Germany game on DVR but have not watched it yet. I'm interested to see how Rose did. I heard the reserve team is not competing in the regular reserve league next season. Any idea why?
Because there is no point in doing it as we are loaning most of the players out. Our squad will most likely be a small one next season.
Not to mention there is no consistant games in the league. Sometimes there is a gap of up to a month between league gmes. Much better off getting our youngsters some league experience, especially as those teams have 46+ games a year.

@msilverstein47 Mod note: You have several warnings regarding the type of post made here, just above. Though I am not a mod of this forum, you have a repeated habit of doing what you just did. While there is strict enforcement in the P&CE forum, where you are occasionally present, the type of posting you just did is not a strictly enforced elsewhere. That said, as a courtesy to all posters in all forums, please do not just drop a link or a tweet without some commentary. To put it another way, we know how to use the internet, and we know how to research, and we know how to link. The commentary you can add brings added value to the post, and would explain (and perhaps, negate) the bumping of a thread which has not had a post in 7+ years.
Do I need to say it?...I believe. I have him on ignore because he posts links with nothing else just about every time I come across his posts. If you check his history, apparently several other mods have had that same issue, and have dinged him for it. For the record, this was specific to that poster.
I knew it! I never bought into that 'the internet's a big truck' malarkey. This explains why so many of my posts are met with silence.
They play the Manchester City Cup near my house, so I went and saw the Spurs U15 play Sounders U15 this morning. Spurs pretty much dominated with very good ball skills but struggled to finish and even missed a PK. Sounders tied it on a corner very late (they had a distinct height advantage over our side) and Spurs lost on pks 5-4. Couple kids with some real ability, so it will be interesting to see what happens in a few years.
