indeed. Kane may have been one of the bottom 2 players today. just couldn't make solid contact on his shots. midfield just bossed the match from about the 25th minute on. Utd really seemed to wilt the longer the match went. I was a bit worried when Fellaini came on, thinking they would start pumping crosses into the box, but I don't remember a decent Utd chance after Lukaku shot early 2nd half

For all the well deserved recognition Eriksen gets he’s still underrated.

Y'know I remember Defoe scoring in the first minute at Old Trafford once.

"Too early," I said immediately. And thus it proved, on that day.

That was a long, long time ago.

Totally forgot about the match. Highlights looked impressive. Man, Spurs need to think about signing Jones as a backup to Kane.

Actually that Defoe goal was scored at WHL in 2009 in the first minute after a Peter Crouch knockdown (ah, the little and large combo, where has that gone?). Unfortunately we lost 3-1, I remember Giggsy scoring a worldy free kick (Giggs always scored against us).

Agree with the comments about Eriksen, his all-round game is very underrated. I was impressed how he read Ashley Young bossing the game on the left flank in the first 10 minutes and then tucked in to help Trippier and basically nullify that threat for the rest of the game.

It also looked like Dier was assigned to keep an eye on the weasel Sanchez and I loved how our players kicked him any chance they got, especially Alli at the end, brilliant!

We completely dominated the 2nd half and United barely had any possesion in our half, we just overran them all over the pitch.

Harry didn't have a great game with his finishing, but his hold-up play was superb, the United players didn't want anything to do with him.

Now those are the Spurs we all know and love, more of the same please!
