Why the hell do you think I'm transferring to a Florida school next year? I love New York, but going to college in the Northeast blows. What are the other schools you applied to?

    Vermont? You hippie pothead.
Creighton? That's in Nebraska, right? No. Just no. Our college years are too important to be spending them in places like Nebraska.
Providence? Good college town, a little too cold for my liking.
Gonzaga? Any place where John Stockton graduated from is pretty damn cool, so they get a pass. Plus, Adam Morrison has a funny mustache.
St Joes in Philly? Philthydelphia is also a good college town.
Have no clue where Regis is.
Xavier? Cincy, good chili. Probably the only thing I know about that place.

Not one school in a location with a generally warm climate. For shame.

Just kidding Zach. I'm just tired of shoveling snow, to be honest.

Haha no worries, im just glad im in somewehre. Regis is in Denver. It is the St. Joes in Philly. Adam Morrision does have a hilarious moustache and Creighton has a good music scene.

Lots of these shcolls are Jesuit as I do go to a Jesuit High School in Chicago. The thign that attracted me about Vermont was that I liked it a lot when I went tehre, they have a solid rugby team and good learning disabality programs. I have ADHD, Dyslexia and Dysgrapia (bad hand writing) and thier support services are supposed to be good. Its going to be a good time though.

He means Regis Filbun. Surprisingly, Regis and Kelly Rippa offered to home-school our fine young CelticOnFire. Word is that he laughed until Kelly made a 'recruiting visit' one night ... and she almost pulled it off ... erm his signature to matriculate I mean of course. :)

Gratz on Montana! Did u tell Rippa she can always visit?

jaymes, you need to be using this thread to keep us posted on Orpheas' progress. the club apparently doesn't have a website, and skysports.com shamefully fails to provide information on cypriot leagues.

doesn't matter how many people i ask in fort wayne, indiana, i just can't seem to get Orpheas results.

...you're asking the wrong people my good fellow. Try asking the nice folk in Bloomington. Make sure you ask for Steve. He will direct you to the old man who holds all the answers to Orpheas. Unfortunately, he lives at the top of Hoosier Hill.

    God Speed.

ah, many connections in bloomington. me aunt millie lived there for years until the good lord took her home a couple back. oh, how auntie mill used to wax on about the mighty orpheas sides of old.

still, despite the good graces of both steve and the wise old hill-dweller (uncle harold, perhaps?), why look to southern indiana for news of nicosia's finest, when i could get the stink from orpheas' star right-back, hisself?

You're killing me, you're killing me!

If you had followed the directions given to you, Steve (in Bloomington) would have sent you to Old Earl of Hoosier. He in turn, would have given you a key to a box.

I don't know why he gives people keys to a box as it's got nothing to do with what you're asking? He would then have told you to go back to where you first started your quest - here on BigSoccer.

So, here you are now, back to where you first started.

    Orpheas Nicosia FC News

We are top of the league at the moment, but haven't been playing well and have lost two games on the bounce. It's not that much of a worry though as we are 11 points clear.

I have scored 7 goals this season. I don't play right back anymore. I am playing in midfield, which is fairly difficult as you need to have eyes in the back of your head - something my mother and father failed to give me.

We have a game tonight against the 10th placed side Kokkinotrimidia FC. We should win, although they can be as difficult to beat as it is to pronounce their name.

I'll let you know the score tomorrow, unless I'm laying in a hospital somewhere.

    Regards

    Jaymes

WAYYYYYYYYYYY OT and probably only concerns a few of you.

I was going to start a new thread but thought that a bit indulgent (ahem, Jaymes... ;) ).

I would like to buy some clothes from the US, except to have them shipped over here costs an extra $40 on top of whatever I want to buy. Which is totally outrageous. Similar items here cost way more too, it's almost worth paying the tax and shipping because it still works out cheaper. They replace the $ with a £ and sell.

So basically, what I am asking is... does anyone trust me enough to buy the gear for me and I send them the cash? either bank transfer or however else.

Expecting a rousing NO!!! from everyone but if you don't ask then you don't get.
