And me and the wife will be going to Tottenham for the B'ham (Park Lane Lower the block right next to the away fans, my wife will freak ) and Newcastle games (East Upper), only mentioned because it will be my first games since '99 and will be the highlight of my trip. Hope I can still park at the Uni. I have always wondered what types of music, or bands people like. I used to love and to some extent still do Techno and Jungle/Drum&Bass, back in my late teens to my mid 20's and loved the London scene. But I aslo like a lot of bands that have stuck with me for a long time such as 'The Stone Roses', The Levellers (from the early 90's traveller band from Bristol) Radiohead (from my wife) The Charlatans, Coldplay (which seem to have got big over here) Bob Marley, The Doors, Led Zepplin, even Oasis and countless others....and for our American readers bands like Sublime, The Beastie Boys, Dave Mathews Band, counting crows, The Dead, Phish, a NY state band called Conehead Budha, KRS-One, Cypress Hill And open to listen to anything anyone recommends. Bit lame but Colm did say anything was allowed

I'll let you know if anything goes on. Have the Orpheas dinner tomorrow night. We always invite a special surprise guest. Hopefully it's no one important this time.

Re: Tottenham Hotspur Off Topic! Good choice sir! I've bought myself 'Some Devil' for Christmas. Musically I'm into a range of things, I particularly enjoy progressive rock (Rush, Pink Floyd, Genesis, Dream Theater, Yes) and I'm a huge fan of Peter Gabriel and Tori Amos. Nothing planned for Christmas here. I'm driving home from Uni on sunday after the Boro game (I'm staying up here to play the last game before Christmas) and I'll be at the Brum and Newcastle games.

My favourite current Brit bands are the totally amazing Kaiser Chiefs and their stunning album 'Employment'. Sample lyric 'I Predict a Riot', a song about weekend binge drinkers/chav scum in provincial towns throughout England; " I try to get in my taxi man in a taxi attacks me says that he saw it before me wants to get things a bit gory girls run around with no clothes on to borrow a pound for a condom if it wasn't for chip fat they'd be frozen they're not very sensible." And Franz Ferdinand are proper pukka! Yeah blad! I also got 'The Prodigy's "Their Law", a best of. I'd forgotten just how bloody good they are/were. What's the latest Orpheas scores?
