somehow i want to see Shanghai Shenhua vs. Shanghai East Asia lol i want to see if that Tanzanian-Chinese kid Aidi is actually good or not.
If there are six rounds, does that not already mean there are 64 teams competing this year? Round 1, 64 teams, Round 2, 32 teams, Round 3, 16 teams, Quarters, 8.... and so on?
They got some weird format this year. I think the first round is only Jia league teams, then they face the CSL teams, except the 4 teams playing in AFC champions league, then the the last 4 teams joins, or something like that

Thanks, shanghai_ultra. By the way, your blog rocks!!! It is the best (and maybe only) source for Chinese soccer in English.
http://asianfootballfeast.blogspot.com/ I'm one of the AFF team, you may follow Chinese League and other asian leagues there.
don't you guys even forget BigSoccer China is the only forum that provides almost-daily updates in English proudly moderated by your dear mod ntg. and my boss teamdragon
I believe WEF, Asian Football Feast, and NTG and Teamdragon can all be very proud of their efforts. Now we just need to ply the corrupt old CFA with baijiu and persuade them to hire one of us as their minister of Foreign Affairs.
Quite a few reasons, basically, lack of sponsorship, the olympic games (bizarrely) and incompetence. Mr Bcheng explains it well there. http://wildeastfootball.net/?p=926
