Looking for top goalkeeper performances from a USWNT gk. Obviously 1999 final is in there. I really loved Solo's save in 2012 against Canada, albeit a friendly. Any other suggestions?
Well more a whole game but if there's an intense save I'm definitely interested. But if it's a 1-0 game obvious;y that one save was really important.
Some initial thoughts about GK performances in Olympics and WWCs: --Scurry vs. Brazil in 1999 WWC semifinal (she had more to do in that game than the final; and Lilly's save in the final outshone Scurry's saves in the game although Scurry's pk stop was obviously huge) --Scurry vs Brazil in 2004 Olympic final --Solo vs. Brazil in 2008 Olympic final (great performance but also because of the 2007 drama/storyline) --Solo vs Japan in 2012 Olympic final --Solo in 2015 WWC game vs Australia --Hamm in 1995 WWC group game vs Denmark...ha, just kidding! But she did have to make a save! I'm sure someone else will come along with other games I'm forgetting.
