Discussion in 'Italy: National Teams' started by Stamos, Jun 24, 2014.
Should of stayed in the Netherlands.
So there is no chance to see eventually a Lapadula in the NT?
What makes you say that? Has he played a senior match for Peru?
I mean Italy National Team, is there any chance for him in the future squad?
Isn't he already capped for Italy? If he only has a slim chance to make any future squads, that's harsh for Peru.
He's been called up but never officially capped. I think he said he wants to play for the Azzurri tho. It's all about his choice
Nicolo Barrella and Lorenzo Pellegrini should be competing for spots in the middle for the Azzurri for the next several years..
If he continues on the same trek, Patrick Cutrone will be Italy’s next main forward.
It's because he's getting his chance, and not having too much pressure put on his shoulders either. The rotation that both Gattuso and even Montella before him are using is helping to get these young guys adequate playing time without having the pressure of carrying the team on their shoulders at a young age.
Gianluca Scamacca (Sassuolo owned) with 5 goals in the last 2 games to qualify Italy for the u19 Euros
That was the player that went to Holland to develop.
Yeah, he developed hugely in the 2 years he was there.
2 goals vs Greece March 21
3 goals vs Poland yesterday
Crazy to think the first TOP PROSPECTS list was created 4 years ago.
