On current form Klose will not be in there, he hasnt been doing to good the last few games. Podolski should be in that top 5 insted of Klose.

I'd agree with you if you had spelled Borowski's name right. But since you didnt I now have to make up my own list :(

    1) Ballack
    2) Podolski
    3) Lahm
    4) Klose
    5) Friedrich/Schweinsteiger

Of course whoever plays between the post will be our most important but I think it will be that order

If I could pick players when they were in best form then they would be - Ballack, Podolski, Lahm, Metzelder, Kahn.

But with current form of players I think most important players for germany will be - Ballack, Lehman, Schweini, Borowski, Klose.

It's not good news for the German defense if we have to consider Lahm as part of our top 5 players...

I'll take it as 5 vital players who can have a big impact in the WC and help Germany go far:

    1. Ballack (naturally)
    2. Klose
    3. Podolski
    4. Schweinsteiger
    5. Lahm

I expect a lot of the youth to step it up...

And if Jens's club form transfers to the NT, then we'll have less to worry about.
