"I have yet to see a player better than Lee"

    ...

After being questioned whether if Lee Dong-guk is the suitable man for the 1-top position, he replied, "I have yet to see a player better than him. I've said this before but he was impressive."

In response to the comment that "Lee is rather reluctant to move around and plays little defense", Advocaat retaliated, "an offensive player should only prevent the oppositions defense from coming too far up into our side of the pitch. And our forwards did a good job defending. The fact that the only Iranian threat was from set-pieces proves this."

    ...

Advocaat's comment could perhaps allude to his disappointment with rest of the National Squad's players during K-League matches.

Advocaat will soon find out what Lee is all about.

So what is he all about? Because no one has yet to see what Lee is all about.

I'd also appreciate it if you can name me some players who are more suitable for that 1-top position than Lee is and why.;)

I've said this few times in the past before and i'll say it again. Atleast to me, Lee DG is the Korean version of Van Nistelrooy (Not saying Lee's World Class like Nistelrooy) but when a good opportunity comes, Lee DG makes the best out of it.

I don't know why people in fact hate Lee DG, he's been our most consistent striker and scorer for over a year now. What more does he have to prove?

I personally don't understand people wanting Ahn Jung-Hwan to start when we already know this guy is crap as a starter and want Lee DG to be taken out of the NT. I don't know about some of you but One of the reason why we have been struggling lately is because we keep starting players that shouldn't be starting.

(I think) Lee Dong-Guk is the Korean counterpart of French striker, Trezegoal.

Lee Dong-gook is just Lee Dong-gook. The best striker ever to play the game next to Hwang Sun-hong.

Yup. Seeing some of the haters exaggerating as much as they can to put him down, I don't see why Dong-ppas like me can't exaggerate as much as we can to make him look better.;)

Park Ju-young in times to come. Ahn Jung-hwan wouldn't be a very good replacement considering he's older than Lee ;)
