Do we know where in midfield they've been playing "our" Timo?

Sounds like he helped set up this goal:

I can't believe these Germans actually say "Wunderbar." Such a stereotype.

This would be like me walking down a Berlin street with a MAGA sticker on a Cowboy hat.

This could wind up being a great move if he can be productive while helping Nürnberg stay up this season. Only potential downside is that he could jump back into the German U21 picture.

he's already in the German NT youth picture, doesn't even need to make next year's U21 to be called up to the NT next season. As he can easily be called up to the U20s instead.

These lineups have so much squad rotation between A and B players that it's unclear whether Tillman is currently considered a primary part of the first team or fringe.

I've lost count, from all those games he's played this preseason has he even scored/assisted much?

I have no real opinion on Tillman to FCN but I saw more than one Bayern fan having doubt that he's ready for 1BL. Whether he is or not will depend on himself and taking the chances he's given.

So did Tillman do well enough in preseason to have a legit shot at first-team Nuremberg playing time early in the season?

Was an unused sub as Nuremberg advanced with a 2-1 win.

I’m sure it’s been discussed before but did he actually make the switch to the US?

Last time I checked several months ago he was deciding on switching.

No, he hasn't but that article says he knows that a decision is impending. If I were to bet on it, I would put money on him playing for the US if he's good enough to.

Low key for ‘18-‘19 Tillman at Nürnberg I’m v interested to see.

I have my doubts that he’s good enough for Germany, let’s see if he can be a solid contributor in the Bundesliga.

The club only used two subs despite being down a goal and Tillman remained on the bench.

Hope this isn't a Green-at-Hamburg experience for him. But, I guess the upside if it is, is that he's more likely to commit to the US.

Anyone seen him play enough able to distinguish Tillman's game vs Green's?
