Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Why spend 10 minutes trying to figure it out? Look at my thread stickied at the top of Yanks Abroad Gameday: "World Time Converters, so you don't miss your match!" so those of us *not* on the East coast don't additionally have to search through the thread to figure out which timezone was posted! Come on people, we should post games in local time, then everyone can convert from there. It's not like it's hard with my time converter thread Edit: Just for the other non-East-Coasters out there: It's starting at 12:45 Localtime, here are all the other timezones: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclo...month=2&year=2010&hour=12&min=45&sec=0&p1=136
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am How come we give no love for Timmy in this thread title?
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I'd like to thank my 3 year old for knocking on the door at 6am and saying, "Daddy....I'm HUNGRY." An hour to go.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Haven't slept a wink. That's what I get for changing my shedule and trying to go to bed early. Am just starting to in on the coffee to pull myself through. Going to be trying to stay up not only for Timmay and Donovan, but Jozy too. And I loved Inglourious Bastards. Just saw it a few weeks back.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Agreed. We need a title edit here for Timmy
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Timmy knows we love him. This game is about Donovan getting his sweet retribution against Liverpool, the foe in which he played quite possibly the worst game of his professional career for Bayer Leverkusen.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Sorry but this derby is bigger than any game Donovan played on club level and should include Timmy.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Liverpool * 25 Reina * 05 Agger * 16 Kyrgiakos * 22 Insua * 23 Carragher * 08 Gerrard * 17 Maxi * 20 Mascherano * 21 Lucas * 18 Kuyt * 24 Ngog Everton * 24 Howard * 03 Baines * 05 Heitinga * 15 Distin * 18 Neville * 09 Donovan * 17 Cahill * 20 Pienaar * 21 Osman * 25 Fellaini * 08 Saha
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I suppose so. It's just I think that Donovan's performance in this game, and those remaining on this loan, have bigger implications for Donovan, and by extension the USMNT, than Howard's does, or would have effect on the national squad. He should be mentioned in the thread title though. Absolutely.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I suppose it was a near certainty, but it's still good to see Donovan starting.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am 10 minutes and we are LIVE! I haven't been this excited for a match since USA v Honduras
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Thread title updated to include that other YA....what's his name again?
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am All the more reason to be that much more nervous for our boy LD. Hope he comes out aggressive and sharp.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am The exact opposite of where I am. Lifeless and dull.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am "Steven Peneer" according to Andy Grey. Oy Vey.
I just upgraded to HD so this is my first EPL game in HD. Wow, can't wait until FSC has it for real. This is stunning compared to the normal broadcasts.
Did anyone catch that Bayer aspirin commercial in the last commercial break before the game? An omen of some sort? BTW - who fixed the coffee? (yawn)
