Landon- You'll never walk alone Donovan likely to get the start at Anfield. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/eng_prem/8500212.stm Come on LD brace.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am And I spent 10 minutes trying to figure out when this started U.S. eastern time. Mod's someone give an EST and an (R) on the end of that thread title, please. Cheers-
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am LOL, how about adding a "Howard" as well.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am http://www.goal.com/en-us/news/1614...canales-corner-redemption-rematch-for-donovan some good quotes in there
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am "It’s huge," Donovan acknowledged to the Liverpool Echo. "But at the same time, I’ve got to remind myself it’s another game in a season. The importance is to try to get a result, and we’re in a good way now and want to keep it going." "We're in a good way".......LD = Friedel Part Two?
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am So Neville does know Donovan's on the same team?
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I kind of liked this article. http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/ever...randkids-says-landon-donovan-100252-25766654/
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I was really hoping the board would be over the Neville bashing.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I think I learn something new about American soccer every time I read a UK-based article. For example, in this article I learned that the MLS was formed in 1993.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Yeah, would love to see him 'have a go' at Dick Kyunt,
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am How does Jozy "Don't call me lazy" Altidore get changed but this doesn't? Weird. COYB. 3-0 to the Blues. Landon with a brace and Fellani with a header.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I'm not a big Donovan or US fan. But far more than that, I don't like Liverpool. I hope he beats the snot out of them. And I hope he remembers the Leverkusen match, it burns, and he's even more fired up to crush them. I hope he does so well, that Benitez wil lbe forced to speak on the defensive in an arrogant/dismissive manner: "I've never heard of that player before. He did ok today with some runs. A little tricky." Putting a winning goal, or decisive brace past Reina is what'll make Donovan a name there and one to be remembered.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I am really conflicted here. I'm willing for Liverpool to endure another humiliation only if it comes from Donovan
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am There is a bit of debate going on whether or not it will be on ESPN360. I believe that it will be on 360 while live. But that it will not be stored for later viewing. Additionally, it is not in the schedule for 360. But I don't believe that any of the ESPN EPL games have been listed on the 360 schedule. And yet a few people have noted that they have seen some of those games live (not after the fact).

Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I really don't know how that differs from what I said.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Just saw a What2Watch4 segment on Sportscenter promoting the game, showing multiple highlights of Landon and Timmay. There's nothing like getting drunk at 8 in the morning watching by far the most important sporting event of the weekend - with a giant blizzard raging outside the house. I cannot wait for this.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am And if he scores and/or plays well, that's going to make a huge statement towards turning the loan move into quite possibly a full-on transfer, IMO. Quite frankly, seeing this is Donovan's biggest test to date during his loan spell, I'm surprised this thread hasn't been up a lot sooner. Like, all week.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am I'm passing up a post-work drinks session at one of the racing clubs I work at, in order to hurry home and watch this one. Yeah, I'm serious about that. I really think it's going to be a fantastic match tonight, and we may very well see some watershed moments out of Donovan in it (in terms of his days in an Everton kit, at this rate).
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am It won't be on 360, as the schedule shows.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Yes, the schedule says nothing about the ESPN2 games. I already stated that the schedule did not list the game. Meaning you added nothing, other than a link that verified me saying it was not on the schedule. I also stated that a number of people, myself included, have seen the ESPN2 EPL games *live* on 360. But, there is no recording kept of it. And (as you and I have previously stated) it is never on the schedule. Now, the idea I threw out there was that they originally thought they had online rights as well and then discovered that they didn't. Or they simply cannot list that they air them on 360 and cannot keep them available online (no idea why). And as I have said elsewhere, it has been some time since I've watched a game on 360. But that's because I rarely wake up in time. And even when I have watched a game on it, it wasn't kept around afterwards.
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Sky Preview has Yakubu back, but Donovan still starting: http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,19762,11065_3150891,00.html "Yakubu could make the bench at Anfield, but the fine form of loan signing Landon Donovan alongside top scorer Louis Saha could keep him out of the starting line-up."
Re: Donovan doesn't walk alone: Merseyside Derby 2/6, 7:45am Maybe they're just translating him into Britlish for their readers.
