Time for a new Tagline?

I changed it to one of those while we're waiting to decide on something.

 

We probably should do something about Royals, at least as part of the tagline, no?

 

It would be nice to have a "Thank you Chris Wingert" for a week or two, then move on to something else.

 

"We're royal in multiple languages" ??
"The royalty didn't just stop in Spain"

 

"Your MLS team couldn't score on the Royal's back line."

In English and in order of importance our team names are Royals, Royals, and Royals.

 

Let's not Lorde over the Royals.

yeah, wtf did Ian want? I get that we screwed up the Javi situation, but other than that what exactly was he getting at?

Too bad tagline can't be a GIF. Found this one that shows RSL, Royals, DLH , and the academy all in one pic.

 

Something about a pride would be at least a halfway decent replacement to the gif.

I've heard this chant at RSL games only a handful of times, always around section 35.
It's a good, albeit short, chant. I wish it would get picked up more, too.

What exactly were we supposed to do with Nat and Will? Have testimonials for guys we traded? Those guys were applauded on their return to the RioT. This is part of the business. Javi is the one we screwed up. I don't think anyone (including the FO) will argue that. But come on, man.

 

Whose to say we won't do something for Wingert? It's entirely possible he'll be invited to the first home game and they'll do some kind of small ceremony before the game. Javi we definitely screwed up on, but it seems weird to honor a couple of guys we traded.

 

How did Ian Joy get such a hard one for RSL? I just don't get it.
