I think its pretty much expected that we get a Timbers jet at some point. Will tomorrow be the day? The event is being held in the Horizon Hanger after all.

Check out this mock-up of one.

Obviously it has the old logo, but how sick would it be to have our jet unveiled along with the jersey.

I'm guessing yes we will. Can't imagine any other reason to present the kit in an airplane hangar.

really? a Timbers Jet? Isn't the cost a little high for a new MLS franchise?

Actually, I'm just now finding out that Alaska Airlines is your initial sponsor, so this makes more sense now... money wouldn't be an issue

Its just a paint job bro. Seeing as how we are partnered with Alaska Airlines it makes sense.

wow. they didn't even give you the tail. your crest got messed up by the windows too. kinda shabby.

scarf on the side is pretty good tho ....

too much primary logo and not enough secondary logo.

Don't count on that being the final iteration of the Timbers plane.

all i'm saying is that you guys deserve to have your logo on the tail like they do with the college teams is all. and not just relegated to a place where it is jacked up by the plane's windows.

and the scarf on the side is cool, even if the chevrons are backwards.

that isn't really negative that is just saying your professional soccer team deserves at least equal treatment as local colleges.

Nitpicking about the look of the plane seems sort of trite to me.

Bar none, that was the coolest jersey unveiling I have ever seen. You guys just topped MLS.

Way cool plane. I hope Alaska Airlines can arrange a flyover at the first Timbers home day game.

I have a recurring nightmare about the landing approach for PDX going directly through downtown, sideways and then under a bridge. It might be cool, but I'd appreciate it if Alaska wouldn't indulge my phobias.
