I think he has the best first touch out of all attackers in the pool already. At the very least, it's really close between he and Pulisic

Weah, Pulisic, Arriola, Lletget, Lewis, etc in the attack for the USMNT... I might start hyperventilating

You must be joking!. He'd be poured in with the foundations, a bust of him would be in the entrance, and he'd be chairman of the admissions committee

I could argue that the Welsh did as the first US whiskey maker was Evan Williams in Louisville KY who was Welsh.

Pulisic's is better (imo obviously!) but Weah has an economy of motion about him that Pulisic doesn't if that makes any sense. Weah seems to have an excellent sense of space and those around him and how best to use his first touch relative to that.

Of course, it's easier to have that when youre up against SPL defenders. We'll see how he does against Valencia. Can't wait.

Weak looks to be constantly trying to find combinations with his teammates and is really unpredictable in the way his mixes up his approach throughout the game. Just a fun player to watch and is both entertaining and effective.

He is going to have a major impact on European football. He's going to end up with and play for a super club

This sort of confirms one of the things I thought about him, in that he's reluctant to take people on 1v1 on the trot. His first touch and ability to keep the ball under pressure are both pretty incredible, and he'd rather use that first touch to combine with his positioning, passing, and off the ball movement to beat defenders. He's sort of an anti-Pulisic, and thus an almost perfect complement. Two kids both with incredible ability to beat defenders, both with world class touch, and both will kill you in very different ways.

    Love it.

Yeah, the lack of dribbles means he’s probably at least self aware enough to know he can’t pull it off, so don’t try.

Other people have mentioned it, but his playing style is very similar to Aubameyang and Rashford. Speed kills

You're basing this on that all touch video?

This last game showed something I often see lacking from Pulisic which is the ability to dribble at players, while being able to also combine with others. There’s plenty of instances where Pulisic telegraphs taking on a player and fails, but could have made a key pass instead, but didn’t because he has blinders on once he commits to the dribble.

Weah didn’t take on players much, but it’s hard for the opposition to predict what he’s going to do. There was one play where I thought he was definitely taking on a player where he last minute made a key pass.

Of course the quality in opposition is quite different, but if Weah can perform like he did today in Ligue 1 then I’ll likely prefer watching Weah over Pulisic if I have to choose.

And not to get my knuckles rapped by talking too much about the MNT here, in a scenario with them playing on opposite wings, it would give Berhalter et al some real tactical opportunities to use them and their skills properly. In my mind they compliment each other very well, though of course you hope both can develop the skills they currently lack.

From the video, from the U17 WC, from his play with PSG.

    His tool kit is fantastic.

From raw talent i see weah head and shoulders abover the rest. Mckennie and adams after that. Adams and mckennie need to find a position. Pulisic distant fourth. I just hope we dont fukc up expectations. Would be elated if weah is a starter in his adult career as bottom lvl cl forward.

xG90 high, xG assisted very low, no successful dribbles, high xG/Shots.

It's the profile of a striker, not a winger.

Remember you are seeing Adams and McKennie doing well near top of BL. Weah hasn't really played at that level. I hope you are right but we haven't seen this in action.
