He rejected Strasbourg before Tuchel stuck that dagger in his heart bringing in Mr. "one goal in fourteen games" Choupo-Moting.

Two attack-minded subs at the half and neither are Weah. This is just so sad. Weah was playing so well too and Celtic just froze him out for whatever reason.

If it's any consolation, Celtic fans seem incredulous that Weah isn't getting more time on the pitch.

No worries. He came on on the 78th. No idea how he did, but not a good day in the office for Celtic.

Came in in 78’, ended 0-0 vs Aberdeen.

He had 2-3 possessions, nothing major. One he cut in from the wing across the top of the box and got absolutely full body checked as he laid it off. Old school stuff.

Had another on transition out wide, decided to let the ball run instead of taking a touch...it took way our wide but regains and puts in dangerous near post cross, out for corner.

Another he tries to beat man to the end line, a little sloppy and soft attempted cross deflects for corner.

2 semi off moments: he’s at penalty spot area, cross comes in and sorta whiffs on the header. Then few minutes later makes a good near post run and sorta whiffs on hard cross in, he was a yard from the goal line and a touch would have been a sure goal. Ball was played in hard and quick but was a bit strange why he either whiffed or let it go.

    Overall, got 12 minutes.

    Nice, fair summary.

I thought he was active and effective in his minutes. Two corner kicks and free kick centrally isnt bad.

There are a few things I would add or emphacize. Late in the game he moved more centrally up top. His movement was good with and without the ball. He dribbled to the end line and got crosses off or won a conerr kick as well as cut inside with the ball. On the free kick he earned, he completed his pass to Brown centrally in a potentially dangerous spot. He made good runs in the box and showed well for the ball.

People around here seem to panic the first time a young player doesnt get on the field. This still seems like a great loan to me. He is having to fight for his minutes and showing that he deserves them and possibly more when he gets on. He has gone through a phase where a new coach comes in and he has to win him over. Isnt that the experience that made people so happy with Dempsey? If he ends up at big clubs down the road or not, he is going to experience this many more times.

Celtic wins 0-1 on a 96th minute goal by Edouard. Did not see how Timo performed. He was never mentioned in the BBC live text since the substitution.

No space hit him to do much, Dundee had 11 in their final third. He made a crashing run to the far post on the winner but Forrest pulled it back for Edouard instead.

Is it me or are his mates kind of ignoring him on the field?

Correction: Dundee had 18 players at the top of their box. That was tough to watch. Weah, as always, moved a ton to try to get space and the ball. Checked back a few times, moved the ball clean when he got it. Not much else on the ball.

    Maybe 3 touches.

Hugely cool moment was when he tracked back 60 yards to break up a Dundee transition after a Celtic corner. Loved that part from him, heart and effort.

Was that including their cheerleaders? Were their cheerleaders unattractive?

Manager change? Don't forget to bench your Americans.

Pretty standard operation procedure over in the promised land.

he wasn't starting before the manager change, playing about the same 10+ minutes per game previously. Reality is they have solid players in front of him and currently in 1st place with little reason to shake things up.

but extra points for the anti-american bias conspiracy. :)

I thought he looked pretty good. He played centrally but dropped deep to provide an outlet and went out wide a couple of times. I thought he combined well, made smart runs and tracked back well defensively. As alluded to by someone else, there was very little space for them to operate.
