Well, Valencia is happy keeping it like this, so they have retreated and just press Celtic so they cannot enter their area. Which is dangerous, Valencia is one of the few La Liga teams that can mount a lightning-fast counter. PS: Meh. Super active in middle of field. Dropping into center of midfield to get the ball and cycle it. Had really nice touch to hold off defender and cycle it. Then cant handle heavy ball played in. Came in hot. Then gets stripped sitting on it a bit too long.
In three days Valencia has to play Espanyol, a must-win if they want to keep any hope of making the next Europa League. In three days Celtic plays Kilmarnock, and even if they lost they'd still be guaranteed a spot in the next Champions. It makes sense that at this point Valencia is not leaving first gear.

Yep, that was a PK not given on Timo. Push in the area. Edouard ruins another counter by keeping the ball too long. He's a bit selfish, but otherwise has provided some dangerous spark to Celtic.
I know people here are going to say he looked like Neymar out there, but IMO he was only ok. Edouard was more influential.

Overall, no problem with his play today. Couldve done better on his chance, 1-2 misplaced passes, but the good was how involved he was. That was all on him, being proactive and chasing to his teammate to receive the ball. Looked to turn and make things happen and crashed the box well. Overall, he showed well.
