I'm going to be in Mexico City from August 1st-11th and am hoping to be able to see America, Cruz Azul, and Pumas if the football gods schedule accordingly. Does anyone know the schedule is available for the 2011 Apertura and what is the best way to purchase tickets for home games for each of these three clubs? Also, are there any 2nd division sides that play in Mexico City that would be worth seeing if all 3 sides are on the road the week I am there?
Wednesday August 3rd Pumas vs Monterrey America vs Estudiantes Tecos Saturday August 6th Cruz Azul vs Atlante Sunday August 7th America vs San Luis not sure on how to buy the tickets, probably during gameday at the stadium or ticketmaster. America games you can get a ticket im sure, but the Pumas vs Monterrey seems like the best game to watch out the bunch
Thanks for the reply. I'm seeing online that America is playing Barcelona on the 6th in Dallas. Wouldn't this affect their game on the 7th? I can't see them playing games two days in a row.
