And a 2nd on the day. That makes 3 in 2 matches -- his 1st international goals ever.

A profile that includes details on him having a helicopter pilot's license:

    http://outsideoftheboot.com/2017/09/04/thomas-delaney-modern-professional-and-always-improving/

In May 2017, FC Copenhagen was finally awarded the Danish Superliga title. The title had been virtually locked down since the Winter Break, and the club’s season had been on auto-pilot since a loss to Ajax in the Europe League, Round of 16.

So how do you celebrate a title that is more of a formality? The club had a plan: They would fly an FC Copenhagen painted helicopter into the stadium, land it in the middle of the pitch and present the Superliga trophy. What the audience didn’t know was who was flying the helicopter.

In the pilot’s seat was Thomas Delaney – the club’s former captain, club icon and talisman who had joined Werder Bremen over the winter.

Esp given his goal-scoring form. Got the equalizer - and MOTM - in a 1-1 away draw at Hertha.

By far the best man on the field.

what explains his great performances as of late? did he just become a father or something? hoping to get that move to Everton back on the table?

Eriksen should easily have this wrapped up.

Amazing how integral he's been for Bremen and Denmark this year. Hope he keeps this up.

Well .... he has been picked (as number 99) by SkySports for their 'Top 100 best players of 2017' , so being rated among the 100 best players of the World by one of the big English papers, they have obviously noticed him over there inspite the fact that he is playing for a bottom team in the Bundesliga :

    http://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/11174976/top-100-players-of-2017-full-list

Btw ... Eriksen is rated as the Worlds 5th best player in their list...

I think he will do like he did the last time ... and like Eriksen and most of the other Danish NT players do ... by not saying yes to one of the usual top teams in the league ... right now with a WC not all that far away, you will see no Danish NT players move anywhere unless they are 100% sure to be a regular starter...

Like @Ceres said, even if offers come in this window, he's unlikely to move in a WC year unless he's sure of being a starter or a regular rotator for a quality side. On top of that, while he's been one of the few bright lights for Bremen over the last 12 months, that's likely to be dismissed as "he's Bremen's cleanest dirty shirt," not least because teams play a more open game against sides as bad as Bremen have been, which gives their better players a bit more space to show what they can do. Offers from quality sides probably won't come this window.

That said, this is his first full season in Germany, and he's playing a lot better than he did last season: to my untutored eye he's simply the best player in a green shirt at club level, and in the WC playoff with us he was an excellent foil for Eriksen. I think he may open a few eyes this summer and get a good move after that.

Good points. I was kinda referring to the summer though.

There's a huge influx of great Danish talent now. Shame Daniel Agger retired due to his injuries. Would have been nice to see him get 1 more WC. But he probably wouldn't have had a spot with the defender at Chelsea and that other giant Dane.
