Interesting. Are they going on their honeymoon over the international break? Could explain why Lichaj wasn't called in...
I'm going to go on a limb and say there's not a chance that's why he wasn't called in. Klinsmann commented on him, saying it wasn't the time to bring in a new player. I think he would have mentioned "actually I did call him up but he's getting married"
And yet he called in Parkhurst who hasn't played a game in a month? But congrats to Lichaj. Keeping up the good form and he might get a chance over the next few months.
For these qualifiers it makes sense because Parkhurst has been in the fold with these players and this team, while Lichaj hasn't been in many (any?) JK camps.

$10 that there's no outrage over his choice of ridiculous clothes. If Shea were wearing this it would be used as definitive proof that he is immature and will never make it as a pro athlete.
You know, the US/UK flags are like the only ones worldwide that can be used as a fashion accessory. In some places it's quite taboo.
The "new player with the team argument" is weak. Brooks (who I like a lot) had what like 1 or 2 days of camp total? Eric just needs to keep playing well and force the argument. Congrats on the marriage!
Ireland too. Freakin' St. Pats day drunks will wear anything. They have no idea what it's like having to live with being Irish 24/7/365. Nothing to celebrate.
