Sadly, young, or even sometimes older players have limited control in their career. And it's often shocking how badly a club's spiral can become. S'land have not excuse, save crappy buisness and footie choices.
I guess I should have specified that I meant currently. Lol. But yes, McBride was/is very well liked at Fulham. Cherundolo at Hannover as well.
I would argue it's between the both in the battle of club/fan appreciation. Dempsey achieved more than either at his club, but I doubt people really warmed up to him in the same way as the other 2. I would reckon Howard/Friedel also had great apprecation since they spent so long at their clubs.
Very much agree. I meant the question to be for current players. Maybe Puli could one day reach that status at BVB. If he stays long enough, which I don't seem him doing.
has anyone ever visited Hannover to ask how he's viewed at the club or if he's been honored with anything in particular? I recall he had his testimonial and he does have a Bundesliga record for the club so that should count for something. And he was captaining them in the Europa League for a while.
I mean, he's their assistant manager and has retained that position under *checks* goodness, four managers in the last two-and-a-half years. I think that says more than enough about how he's viewed by the club hierarchy, at least.

Secondary assist on the second goal though Lichaj's part was a relatively straight forward throw-in (0:59)

That's the end of the Cup for them, Hull up 2-0 and the 3-0 looks more likely than the 2-1 with 10 minutes left. PS: This one can only be followed by text, btw.
