You've been set up expertly by superdave, who's pulled a Stormtrooper-esque series of wry posts. Impressive, most impressive.

Rongen, who is a clown who misrepresented his actions wrt Gonzalez, is no longer affiliated with USSF and is a talking head, I believe.

The Dutchman’s more important gig, though, was his status as U.S. Soccer’s chief scout. In that role Rongen was tasked with steering the development of America’s youth prospects, spotting upcoming talents from around the nation and getting them into the USMNT set-up so as to best hone their gifts, and convincing potential USMNTers who could also represent other nations to stick with the Red, White, and Blue. It’s a big, important job that we and everyone who cares about American soccer and the sport in general are glad he no longer has.

    (lost his job last December)
JG filed his one time switch last January. Someone concerned about this might ask Tab Ramos did he follow up also with JG's fmaily?

Sorry, a little off track, but does anyone currently hold this position? It is not like it should disappear because one jackass messed it up.

The cross by Benjamin Bourigeaud was headed on target by Adrien Hunou. Xavier Lenogue saved, but the ball fell at the feet of Jordan Siebatcheu who had only to tap the ball into the net.

He didn't get off the bench as Rennes won. Being a Ligue 1 starter is essentially a minimum requirement for France U21, let alone the senior team. Even when he was starting for Rennes, his France U21 odds weren't good considering the primary core of forwards they have been sticking with, and the secondary group of forwards who are being left out but still ahead of him in the pecking order. He turned down a USMNT callup last June and wants to play for France, but those odds were low to begin with and are dropping further.

Two goals against the second place team Ligue 1 is nothing to shake a stick at.

This is almost too good a showing as it might get Jordy some France U21 interest. He now has scored 7 goals in 20 games spread over Ligue 1, Europe League and the French Cup. The breakdown is as follows.

    Ligue 1: 14 games, 3 goals
Europa League: 3 games, 1 goal
French Cup: 3 games, 3 goals

Is that enough to get the FFF's attention or is he still an afterthought given all their talent and depth and he should focus on playing for another national team like, say, the US.

I can't see them having him on their radar unless he triples those goals by end of the summer.

EDIT: Oh the u-21 you mean; for some reason I thought you meant the senior side.
