at this rate, he's not even making the French U21 squad. He should know his chances with France are dwindling. Soon to be 23 and realistically he's never going to make the seniors.
So it's between us and Cameroon at this point. The Cameroonian federation is doing so badly, they just lost the hosting right for AfCoN 2019 after failing to advance in any of the construction projects. So it's not a tempting offer at the moment. https://fr.starafrica.com/football/articles/can-2019-cameroun-maroc-caf/ Of course it's not all their fault. A separatist movement and Boko Haram terrorism can put a soccer federation under undue strain.

here's the assist, pass with his back to goal. Although most of the credit is to the scorer. https://streamable.com/qf5yu

In not so great, since his 1st choice is France after all. These goals have taken him to towards the top scoring French U21 strikers around Europe. only Moussa Dembele and Mateta have scored more at 4 than Siebatcheu while he's tied to 3 with Augustin. Speaking of Augustin, that guy is being linked with unprofessionalism both by French coach for lying saying he can't join up with U21 because he's not fit only to play a friendly with RB Leipzig later on. Now there are growing and growing reports that RB/Rangnick are losing patience with him. In fact he's playing less and less of a role for RB since Oct in 1BL and RB could cash on him in Winter.

that's true but his current focus is on France U21, a lot of these players take it 1 level at a time. I do think the writing is on the wall but what can you do, a lot of players try even if it seems unlikely.
The UEFA U21 Championship, for which 96s are eligible, starts in mid-June. The rosters need to be submitted 10 days before the tournament starts. That's the last French YNT event for which he'd be eligible unless France qualifies for the Olympics and chooses him as an overage player (which is doubtful). Realistically, if he isn't included in any U21 camps in the first part of 2019, we'll know if he's in the mix for a spot in the tournament.
I think Jordan Siebatcheu would make an excellent partner for Sargent they should complement each others game.
Highest rated player. That's pretty impressive given the pedigrees of the players at the top end of Ligue 1. Also likely means it gets the attention of FFF coaches.
In addition to SofaScore, Jordan was WhoScored's top Ligue 1 player of the week. He was nowhere to be found in the official Ligue 1 team of the week, but that's really only because it's based on a fan vote, with other, bigger international names consistently occupying the attacking spots.
It seems odd to me that 5 players for the same team made "team of the week" and Rennes is not even an elite team.
oh no ....he needs to play good but not too good...not best player in Ligue 1 good...then he might actually play for France.
