No surprise, he's one of the three nominees for official Ligue 2 Player of the Month for December, after winning the official September one and an unofficial December one as well. Vote for him. https://www.tropheesunfp.com/

The federation should be working double time for this guy. We're so weak at striker, we could use him ASAP.
We could've used him asap if not for that not qualifying for the World Cup thing. One of the most disappointing aspects of not qualifying is that the team we could have sent to Russia had the potential to look very little like the team that struggled so badly during qualification.

Is he really that GOOD? or simply GOOD by our standards? Like are there actual scouts from Ligue 1 clubs interested or French u-21/u-23 wanting to call him up?
Welp, he was called up last year to the U-21's for France, and is the joint-2nd leading scorer in Ligue 2. He's a very good, young player, but there are tons of very good, young players eligible for the France's U-21 squad.
10 goals and 6 assists in 20 matches this season. We need to get this kid at least integrated into the national program.
Thanks for the reply. So he's a small fish in a big pond for France, so hopefully this might give us an edge. I couldn't expect him starting or even being called up with guys like Mbappe and Dembele in the squad not to mention older fellows like Griezmann, Lacazette and more. Btw how's his English?
it’s a win win. we cap him and he continues developing over there and mayb moves up to league one. no telling his tragectory, but let’s make him ours.
He's in the Goldilocks Zone: good enough to look like a possible upgrade for us in the future, but not so good that a better option is clearly open to him.
http://americansoccernow.com/articles/here-s-a-name-to-know-theoson-jordan-siebatcheu hopefully better than it was two years ago...but I doubt it.
Seems to me having David Regis parlez with him about playing for the US wouldn't be the worst idea. Rien to lose.
Maybe it's improved since then, but in early 2017 he turned down an interview in English. Only wanted/was able to do it in French.
Someone tweet Pulisic and ask him to get in contact with this guy. He's probably the only competent guy in us soccer right now.
I agree that our best young players should be the ones recruiting. No one else right now has any power or cachet.
But do they speak French? Might be wise to engage Onyewu, Bedoya or Davies for this. All three played in France and speak, to varying degrees, some French.
Carlos Bocanegra speaks some French. He's in the off-season from his job, so he can be free to head over there.
